Epsilon Report # 8 (2002-05-31)

This report was submitted by CM Ard Royber

News

1. We have a comp vs Wing II continued. We are to fly TIE-TC # 165. The rest of you, who haven’t flown it yet, should do it ASAP.
2. We have a ship-wide recruiting comp. If you want a shiny medal - just recruit more people to Sovereign. And especially to our squadron – we have or will have several losses.

Squadron News

1. CPT Roger transferred to Praetorian. Good luck, Captain!
2. LTs Magi-Ster and Coppa. For inactivity and improper service to the Empire and EH I hereby declare you AWOL.
3. A newcomer to our ranks – SL Jason Dehner. Now he is Epsilon 1-2. Report and start being active in order to be promoted. Be sure you read the Rules section of presented report.

Squadron Status
1. Our squadron still has 1 FL position opened. I’m going to continue the tradition of FL’s appointments. So, FL-2 will be the squadrons XO. His duties will be helping with squadron site, with helping me to run the squadron and be an A-CMDR while I’m on leave ( your own ideas are welcome).
2. Now we have 4 citations, but they are our last, because I’m going to AWOL 2 pilots.

Orders.
1. Attention.
During the month I’ll track your activity and count it in so-called Officer Activity Points - OAP’s :-). The person, who earns more of them, will get a title of «The Best Epsilon Officer»
Note: the system may be changed

Approximate values:
IWATS completed: 10 points
Mission flown: 1 point.
Good idea submitted ;-): 1-4 points.
Competition designed and approved by me: 5 points
Competition winner: 10 points.
Active FLs (and CMDR) get bonus points per week.
Of course, this is not exact system, with not all activities mentioned.
Designed mission approved - 2 points

3. Fly TIE-TC # 165 for Wing I vs Wing II competition. Send the BSFs to our WC.
4. Fly any TIE-FREE mission. Fly DIFFERENT missions - let's our WC understand at last how MANY pilots there are really in his Wing ;-)
5. Start recruiting. Not only for the comp - we may loose 3 pilots, it wouldn't be a good thing to set three in the squadron barracks - the only sing three pilots may do is to drink vodka 

Rules.
FLs are to send me short reports on activity in their Flights not later than Thursday.
Each of you is to fly 1 battle per month (4-6 missions total). You are to select it by yourselves, though it would be better you fly it according to the Flying plan. If you will not able to do it, I’ll contact WC in order to know if he wants you transferred to another Squadron, or AWOLed. Anyway, you won’t stay in Epsilon.
If is silent for a month, you will be simply AWOLED, if you haven’t warned me in advance.
Anyway, I think a battle per week is the most optimal level of activity.
Any battles, ordered to fly additionally (for comps , or smth else) are to be flown in time. If it’s not done without explaining me the reasons you are getting a Yellow Card.
Small faults will be punished with Yellow Cards. Get 5 YC’s and you’ll get a Sleeping Beauty title.
If you fly extra battles, or do extra work during the week, you may get rid of 1-2 YC's
If you a Sleeping Beauty, remember: SB’s are usually demoted of AWOLED. After the end of 2 month YC’s are cleared.
Active and capable officers will be awarded.
CMDR is punished in the same system.

Just remember: I need disciplined and active Imperial officers.
Note: If you are unable to carry out an order, I MUST be warned in advance. Though it would be better you all are able to carry out my orders with no problems ;-)

Current warnings.

SL Dehner
