- Medals this week: LCM Braxton received a LoA, Maj Gidda took home LoCx2, LCM Hunter was awarded a BS for flying over 130 missions this week. and I received LoCx6, and a DFC. Nice work, Rangers!

- (This isn't squadron news, but I thought i'd include it) CM Bobxavi was awarded the MoH(Medal Of Homer). When he found out that one the Immortal's more infamous pilots was in fact a female, CM Bob was quoted as saying, "DOH!". (Don't worry, Bob...we on the Immortal still love you :P )
- Ranger Internal GFX Comp was extended a few days to allow for a few more submissions. All submissions have been turned over RA Darksaber for judging. Thanks to everyone who submitted, and thanks to RA Darksaber for doing the judging.
- The Ranger Ace Comp is running and the due date is: Monday, June 10th. The mission is XWAF 65 Combat Patrol. Only a couple of days left, people. So get submissions in ASAP.
- I recently challenged Trapper Squadron to a friendly Comp, as a way to celebrate my new position as Ranger CMDR. They have accepted. Details are here. Umm...I also noticed that I did an "oops" in filling out the form. (If we went by what the form indicates, we'd have SEVENTEEN YEARS until the deadline, so maybe I will get awarded a MoH too?) This comp begins on Sunday, June 9th and submissions are due Wednesday the 19th. The mission is: XWAF 44. The best average score wins the comp. That means Ranger needs 100% participation. (also see attachement). Also, the high scorer will receive an IS-BW.
- WC's Own- So far the WC's Own award have been awarded for a single activity or achievement, for example highest scores on a free mission or most posts on the squad mbs. This month the award will go to the squadron that is most active inall measurable areas. There'll be four catagories of activity to compete in, mission flying (as in numbers of missions), multiplayer flying (numbers of victories), message board posting and IWATS courses. The first squadron in each category will receive 6 pts, the second 5 pts and so on. In the event of a tie inside a category the total score of the two places the squadrons would have occupied is split in two. The squadron with the most pts wins. If there's a tie in total pts the squadron with the most missions flown wins. That's all, to your fighters or pens!
- WC's Beer Challenge- The WC will buy beers for a entire month to any squadron that hands fifty or more BSFs this month. So get flying!

Thursday is "The Night of the Lost Souls". The ISD Immortal multiplayer competition will take place from 20 GMT to 22 GMT (15:00 - 17:00 EST) and will be held on #ISD_Immortal and #EHCOC (Undernet servers).
- So, to sum it up Rangers, we have two flying comps, and the WC's own...so fly missions, do some mp, and post! And if you get time, do an IWATS course or two :P
