News:
WE NEED PILOTS‼ We are now down to 4 good active pilots. What has happened to us? Are we a bad squadron? Are we scaring people away? Are we lazy and need to start doing something other than wait? Answer the questions on your own and do something about our dwindling numbers. There was a time when this squadron had the most in the wing – 10 pilots! 4 in flight 1, 4 in flight 2 and my 2 pilots in flight 3… I want us to double our efforts in getting pilots in the squadron. Lieutenant Commander Blaine has shown great effort in accomplishing this. I regret that I have done very little to support him (work has me busy most of the day). I shall make this attempt a top priority from now on. I am not very good at recruiting at all. Most of what I do is give the facts and just the facts. I do not spice things up very well. I am a down-to-earth kind of recruiter. Besides, I never know what to say to someone new…
Captain Boshevki was AWOL’ed this past month for his inactivity. What disturbs me the most is that he was on-line when I did it and made no effort to contact me for 7 weeks. Moreover, the way he responded to the news was even more bothersome. It is as if he could care less if he was active or not. Admiral Proton told me he was a clone of another pilot and it was really no loss. This was not his exact words per say but paraphrased from the message he sent me about my concerns. If any of you do not wish to be in the squadron, tell me now and I will have your transfer set up as soon as I am able to. I hope that I am an honorable enough commander for you to stay.
As of the writing of this month’s evaluation and report, I have not yet received the pilot files for the Verpine Encounters from Blaine or Killer. I noticed that neither of you have done them in the past. This is two months in a row. Lets do the battles. If we each do these battles, we can have at least 12 new citations a year when we gather 6+ pilots. Only 3 of us need to have them done to get the citation. I would prefer that we have 75% of the squadron flying the citationed battles. Just because we have only 4 pilots does not mean we do not have to fly anymore, this means we must increase our activity to attract new pilots. I suggest that everyone look at each other’s combat profiles (including your own) and let me know what activities you are going to plan for the month. This is mandatory for my flight leaders…

Updates:
We are in the Colossus League competition. There are weekly missions to fly with them. I for one cannot always get the mission flown. If you can, fly it! Let us do our monthly battles this month.
Lieutenant Commander Blaine completed the SM/3 IWATS course with an 88% (I think it was that. Or was it 81%…) and is showing a remarkable ability to take charge. He is so much more outgoing than I am and it is a relief from some of my responsibilities. Thank you Blaine.
July’s meeting has a change to it. If you read my weekly report you will know what I have changed and the reason for it. Let me know.

Wing I News you had better know:
There are a few roster changes to the wing. Delta is getting new pilots almost every week. Let us learn from them and start our own drive for pilots. Blaine has started a speech thing. Contact him for more information.

Editorial:
I noticed that the squadron site is getting hits. I had 26 hits this past month. It seems people do actually follow the roster links. I will really need to get the page working properly. It should be ready by the 14th. I apologize for the delay. Blaine is doing very well is his endeavors and I support all of his efforts. Vector is trying to get the flight 3 page up and working and I hope he can get his running well. Killer is on leave and I am a busy bee. Wow, we are all in the midst of activity. Since we all are doing something, I will not bore you with stupid details.
The trivia section is suspended again until I can get more time devoted to it. Sorry everyone who enjoyed it.
