* Attention - Officer on Deck! *

Welcome to the latest installment of the Mem WSR! Last week was actually rather quiet after a series of more hectic weeks. It's good to be able to rest and relax every once in a while, though. As there were no special happenings during my brief absence within the past days, I'll move on with the actual report :

Squadron News :

- LT Moldy has reported in, thus saving me from the unpleasant task of AWOL' ing. A brief reminder to all of you: always remember to notify me, your CMDR, if you're going on a leave that lasts longer than, let's say, 7 days. Or at least turn your status on the TC personnel profile to "On Leave".

Other Stuff :

- CM Nick Chi'Cath of Flight III will be on leave until August 23rd.

- It's still early days, but there might be a squadron vs. squadron competition coming in the near future. Stay tuned, more news as follows...

Current Events :

- The final week of the Squadron League season is on! The assigned battles are TIE-TC #194, XvT-TC #70 and XWA-FCHG #3, and the deadline is next Friday, August 22nd. So far CM Ryan Chi'Cath has, once again, completed all the assignments, with LT Moldy's submission(s) in the works. Superb work, Ryan!

- The Mem Squadron Banner Design Contest is on, but I've yet to receive any submissions for it! Remember, the deadline is next Sunday, August 24th, so get those submissions rolling! Create a new stunning banner for our squadron and win an Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon (IS-BR)! Check the competition info at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=748

We're still waiting for the results of our latest challenges (mine and Nick's).
