Hello Squadron,

MAJ Carl Lost reporting in for the Squadron of Sin for this week.


Hello pilots. I am sure you all have read and noticed that I was in France last week and couldn't write a report. The house of a friend where we stayed, is at least 170 years old.... so I was lucky to have mobile phone reactions and likewise....

I mean , the village ( french origin, that word, did you know ? ), was smaaal, but the bakery was full of baguettes in alll possible sizes and the crossaints.. superb !*groumpfchewchew* And the restaurant.. The price was ourtrageous but so was the taste of the chicken in that strange sauce and the firts dish and the pastete.. MJAM MJAM !!!!!

Also I have a new chassis for my machine and a new CPU (XP 2200 + ) and a new cooler (brooooom) and no more than 38 ° Celsius, hä, hä, hä-...... forgive me, I have not enough coffe and it is 7 in the morning....


I have secure communication that Mr. Tim is willing to rejoin but I have to await final confirmation on that matter. But Gentlemen, tuck in your shirts and put on your uniforms, we'll give him a welcome when he enters that dooer, eh ? ;) ( Bob, PUT down that lightsaber.. I said WELCOME, and not BEHEADING and STOP Grinning....)

I'm currently having a few of the squadrons participate in matches with outside squadrons until GSSP and SSL competitions are over.
Imperial Storm IV will probably begin soon. September, I believe. But this will not be a constant activity competition meaning that you won't be assigned weekly, so I encourage you all to get involved in other competitions.

EH Racing League

An announcement for Lieutenant Commander Rem Somnos:

Announcing the EH Racing League. On September 1st DarkFyre on #ehcoc will be able to handle XWA multi-player racing. Players will be able to participate in one on one to free for all heats. DarkFyre will of course handle the scoring.

Check out the EH Racing League website at www.ehracingleague.minos.net for details. Bot commands can be found on the RULES page, and also check out the tournament schedule. WCs, and BGCOMs have the opportunity to create a graphics comp for the floating cup for their respective Wings and Battle groups. *hint hint*

Virus warning

If you have been receiving a lot of emails recently with "returned mail" in topic, then you can be infected with W32/Sobig-F virus. I have been infected myself, so if you have received any emails from pbmike@klub.chip.pl, ingore them and delete them right away (I never send from this addy).

I have visited Sophos website and they have simple cure. Download their latest patch and run C:\SOPHTEMP\RESOLVE.COM -DF=SOBIG.DAT -NOC (unzip patch to SOPHTEMP directory on C:. (win9x).
