• You have 6 days to send me your submissions for the SSL Finals. Diamondback is fighting to win the XvT division and to get 3rd place in XWA Division. Our enemies are called Aggressor Squadron (the ASF Flaggies, you know) and Gamma Squadron and I bet that after the great efforts we put in this competition during the past months you don't want to let them win! Well, I don't for sure. Battle to fly are XvT-TC 70 and XWA-FCHG 3, deadline is Friday the 22nd. Good luck and let's kick asses once again!
  

• Remember that Intrepid Activity competition is still running but the deadline (25th August) is closing in. If you created any gfx or fiction send them to me and our squadron will receive more points. This week Derek Dan sent me a short story called "Nightmares", I decided to attach it to this report to share with you this very good fiction.
  

• Thanks to SquadFirst+ I've created a new squadron homepage. The URL is: http://diamondback.tiecorps.net , the TC template was a bit plain for me so I decided to pick the IW template and do some changes. I replaced the rebel flying piece of junk (aka A-Wing) with a cool TIE Defender and the IW crest with a even more cool Missile Boat. I also added a brand new banner even if I'm not completely satisfied with it so you all should prepare for a Homepage Banner competition. I also plan to introduce other improvements in the future and I'll keep you informed about them.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are going camping. They pitch their tent under the stars and go to sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night Holmes wakes Watson up. "Watson, look up at the stars, and tell me what you deduce."
 Watson says, "I see millions of stars, and if there are millions of stars, and if even a few of those have planets, it's quite likely there are some planets like Earth, and if there are a few planets like Earth out there, there might also be life."
 Holmes replies, "Watson, you idiot, somebody stole our tent!"
