- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • This has been a rather slow week for Diamondback, I know for the most of you school or university has restarted in these days and your real life is more busy than few weeks ago still I'm bit disappointed to have received 0 submissions both for Celebration! and Dback Homepage banner so I decided to postpone deadline for these two competitions to next Friday. I hope I'll receive at least a couple of gfx because it would be a shame not to award these shining Imperial Stars ;-)

  • Captain Tvan'Oris is one of the three Wing XIV pilots to receive the Commendation of Loyalty! Congratulations on your well deserved award. To know all the recipients of the CoL check out TIE Corps news.

  • GA Ronin and SA Astatine still have to pick a new Operations Officer so we continue to wait for all our SSL and MSE medals. Just be patient...

  • Tvan'Oris has created a cool webpage where he collected all his awesome graphic works. The url is http://republika.pl/tvanoris , don't miss it!
  • On a last note I did some updates to Diamondback site. I've created two new sections and I added a new background for the "content" window. Let me know what do you think of it.

  • Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest

    The SSSD Sovereign Squadron League coordinators are pleased to announce a battle creation competition leading up to the SSL 2004. The Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest runs through 12/31/2003, and is open to all XWA mission creators in the TC.

    Entrants must create a four-mission XWA battle, absolutely without patches, for use in the SSSD Sovereign League 2004.

    The competition has four monthly rounds; each month, a "best battle" will be selected by the Sovereign League judges. The winner of each round will receive an IS-GR; runner-up, IS-SR; and third place, IS-BR.

    The SSL judges desire to use high-quality XWA battles for the SSL 2004. XWA creators will construct one or more four-mission battles (no less or more than four missions); absolutely no patches are to be used with the battles. Top battles will be judged by the SSL staff, then sent off to the TAC office. The TAC has agreed to accelerate testing and confirmation of the winning battles so they will be available in the compendium in time for the start of the SSL 2004 in January. Medals awarded for this contest will be separate from any TAC-awarded mission creation awards.

Training Office Competition: Apostasy

The 'Apostasy' Competition, a small series of events from the Training Office open to all members of the Emperor's Hammer! The 'Apostasy' Competition will run for 5 weeks. And will end on Friday, 12th of September at 11:59pm BST (6:59pm EST). Every event is open to all members of the Emperor's Hammer - of every SubGroup.The awards for each individual event are as follows: IS-PR, IS-GR, IS-SR, IS-BR.
