- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • Sorry if this report is a bit late. Two days ago I've formatted my HDD and the reinstall procedure has been a bit longer than expected.

  • Sovereign Squadron League: Diamondback has beaten Mem in XWA and XvT divisions and we advanced to semi-finals. We lost against Praetorian in TIE division but we exit with honor having lost against one of the best TIE squadrons in the Fleet and with a 200K points disadvantage (HS was 210K points). We have met all our objectives for the quarter-finals and now we can concentrate on XvT and XWA divisions. Our new "enemies" are  Odin squadron (Grey Wolf) for XvT and Omega Squadron (Sovereign) for XWA. Beware of Omega, their score in the last round was better than ours. Read the Competitions Report for all the semi-finals details!
  • The Intrepid Activity competition is still on and thanks to CPT Tvan'Oris and LCM Zhaim Jifarr we're still in first position. However I would like to see some participation in this event also from other pilots. Remember that you can earn points for almost every activity: graphics, fiction, mission creation, IWATS courses and of course for completing custom battles or flying multiplayer melees.

  • Our Wing Commander is having PC problems but she should be back tomorrow. CM Crimson Fury is A-WC during Phantom's leave.

  • Congratulations to Zhaim Jifarr on passing another IWATS course with a score of 100%. This time the exam was XML.
  • MSE medals for the month of June have been finally awarded! Tvan, Derek and your Commander got ISMs. Zhaim received a Palpatine Crescent. Way to go!
  • TAC has released my newest XWA mission: XWA-Free #105, Strike at Hunkur IV. Diamondback squadron is once again the star of the mission :-)

ISD-II Intrepid Activity Comp!

Start Date (mm/dd/yy): 7/1/2003 
End Date (mm/dd/yy): 8/25/2003 

Medals to be Awarded: IS-SW to Top MP Pilot IS-SW to Top SP Pilot IS-SR To Top IWATS IS-SR To Top Fiction and Graphics IS-BWs and IS-BRs for second places respectfully. Top winning Squadron gets the title of WC's Own, Top Pilot gets the title of COM Protector.
 
Miscellaneous Information: For Every mission flown, one (1) point is awarded to the pilot who flew it. Every fiction sent to the Intrepid Flags gets between 1 and 5 points (up to the Flag's discretion.) 3 points for every Iwats course passed. NO POINTS FOR HIGH SCORES. In addition a Ladder is going on, every ladder loss is worth two points, and every Ladder Win is worth 3. In the end, the pilot with the most points for each section gets an IS-SW or IS-SR (depending the Section) and IS-BW and IS-BR for seconds.
