I can't believe how cute my hamster is. With the running in the wheel and nibbling on the
massive oversized food pellets...he even yawns! It's so adorable! Alright alright, on to the

***SQUADRON NEWS***
-Sovereign Cup 2003 is starting up soon! Those of you that didn't volunteer for it suck. :P

-I have been promoted to LC, because I rock.

-Here's an opportunity for TC members to speak their wishes about new Star
Wars flight sim games. Lots of posts asking for TIE Fighter II, etc., and
we could make that way more dominant:

***WING NEWS***
-The battles in the Mission Compendium have been linked away from people are who are not
logged in for security. You must now be logged in to download missions.

-Wing II site has been updated at http://wingii.tiecorps.net

-The Mission Compendium will be down for a while while some updates are made to it. So, for
a while, you guys have an excuse to not be active! :)

-From GN Stele: Boys and girls, I have a new competition in the works and hopefully it will kick off at least by next monday, but that's just me hoping. I will be running a competition very similar to the Inkwolf Raid competition which we flew about a year and a half ago http://www.inkwolfraid.50megs.com

But this, boys and girls, will be very different. Instead of me deciding what the mission will consist of, the entire wing will get to decide what the best course of action will be for a particular mission. I will give the wing a setup situation based on a plotline supplied by MAJ Seth, who is helping me with this competition. From there, everyone, and I mean everyone, can send me an email on what the best course of action is for the wing to take to overcome a mission. I will then take the best three suggestions and put them on a forum in which everyone will get to vote for the best course of action. From there, I will take that most voted suggestion and turn it into an actual mission which we will all get to fly for our competition. There will be about 4 to 6 missions, depending on how the plotline goes.

I hope everyone will enjoy this because this gives everyone the oppurtunity to help with mission ideas as well as actually flying them.

Mission Compendium going offline

Final preparations to release Project Shield require taking mission compendium offline and updating all links. Soon you will start seeing .ehm files instead of .zips. Do not download them, cause you won't be able to instal them. As soon as I will finish update of all link, we will release software and you will play battles again.
