Weekly Report

Avenger Squadron news:
This is my final report as Avenger Squadron Commander. I have to step down due to the birth of our second child, and I will simply not have the time that the Elite Squadron Commander needs to have to properly adminster this squadron. It has been a wonderful (almost) year, which has seen triumphs and frustrations. I have seen Avenger set a new citation record, and we held 5 of the top 20 CR pilots in the EH at the same time.

I will move to Avenger 1-2 and let the next Avenger Commander decide if I should transfer out.


Personnel Transfers:

- Avenger houses 5 Pilots:
COL Dax Corrin will be transferring to Avenger 1-2 for the time being.

Peh-Palpatine Crescent Girthy receives 6 LoCs!

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
XVT Week of War: WoW is on now.. Info can be found at Battlestats or on theZone. All Avengers should participate at these!
Imperial Storm on now! Battlegroups vs the Sov on now. Contact imminent. Be prepared!
Battlegroup Competitions:

ASF Recruitment Competition! Admiral Darksaber is hosting a Recruitment competition in the ASF. Recruit! Get people back from the reserves!
Avenger Competitions:

Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star.
Recruitment Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots!

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the Week Girthy! Girthy is participatng in XvT WoW and got 6 LoCs last week! God job.

Well, it's been one heck of a ride, and I've enjoyed ALMOST all of it. >:Þ I've recommended LC Azazel to be my replacement, but the final decision is up to the FO, DS, and who knows who else. I will await my final disposition after the new Commander takes office. I hope the new commander has the passion I have had for this squadron over the last 3 years and 5 months as a FM, FL and finally commander. Thanks for the ride.
