Phantom Squadron Report Captain Aeolus reporting in for Phantom Squadron on Nov. 21st, 2003, Greetings Phantom, another week behind us. However, all those weeks aside it will be these next four weeks that we will get a chance greater than all others to prove ourselves in battle. Exercise Cantina Run V is upon us. It begins this Sunday so be ready, I hope you all are, and now onto the rest of the report.
In Fleet News:
- The Flight Officer is back from his leave, if anybody had anything put on his to do list while he was away it should be taken care of. If not just ask me.
- I'm not sure how many of you fly XvT multiplayer, but the XvT week of war started today on the zone. Go here http://zone.msn.com/en/root/starwars.htm for more information.
- The tactical office has tester and engineer positions open for TIE and XW (does anybody still fly that?) If you're interested check out the TIE Corps news page for more details.
In Wing News and Activities:
- Locke is back and he has gave word of a completed and ready to run ECR V. It starts Sunday so look for more news on that coming up really soon. I will check this all out on Sunday and then work on getting tips for the flying missions asap and send them out over the egroups, also if anybody beats me to it feel free to give your own hints, mine will doubtfully be complete and the more hints the better. Thanks.
- Head onto the undernet into #ISD_Immortal for some knee slapping good times.
- As always, it seems to please the flag officers when people fly things, which results in medals in most cases, in case you were interested.
In Squadron News and Activities:
- Two veteran Phantom pilots join the Immortal to help out during the ECR. Welcome to COL Gunman and CM Deimos.
- The Phantom attributes competitions continue.
- I don't know who has phantom.squadrons.org but if you have it, please email me.
- Squadron citations are down by a very small percentage (4% to be exact) due to a couple veteran Phantom pilots.
- The squad is getting ready for ECR this Sunday. I know I have my joystick ready, I even cleaned it today.
