Phantom Squadron Report

Greetings again Phantom, and welcome to another edition of the Phantom Squadron report. I am your host, Captain Aeolus. A lot has happened in the past week let me tell you. Without further ado, lets dive right in shall we, lots to report.

In Fleet News:

• The EH Library has been completed at http://ehlibrary.minos.net. Check it out if you get a chance it is a pretty site with some documented materials on the EH.
   
• In the new officers portion of the Imperial Fleet, Wing IV has a new WC, by the name of Colonel Mini-Minkus.  Also Colonel Brian has been promoted to Commander of the Elite Omega Squadron. Congrats to both of them.
   
• The COM of the ISD Challenge, RA Sephiroth has resigned as of late. No applications are being taken at this time for a replacement.

In Wing News and Activities:

• ECR V contines to roll on strong. With week 2 coming to and end Locke has proclaimed the ISD Immortal as being out in front. Congrats to everyone who has submitted so far.
   
• Wing XI heads into week 3 of ECR V, all pilot file submissions both XWA and TIE are due to me (Captain Aeolus) by 9:00 PST (GMT - 08:00) on Saturday.
   
• Ghost CMDR is open for applications. If you think you have what it takes to run the infamous Ghost Squadron apply to Locke and Boliv asap. Good luck to anybody who applies and feel free to use me as a reference.
   
• As always the "of the month" competitions are going on.  Be as active as possible, and you might find yourself the news pilot of the month.
   
• Captain Aeolus was given honors as pilot of the month for November. From Phantom it's a real honor.
   
• Phantom Squadron was once again squadron of the month, for the third time in a row I hear. Congrats to everyone in the squadron this is a real honor! Lets keep up the great work guys.

In Squadron News and Activities:

• CM Deimos left the squadron for the reserves earlier in the week due to some technical difficulties with his joystick. His short stay in Phantom Squadron was a pleasant one and his presence will be missed. Good luck to him in the future.
   
• On a brighter note, Captain Goose has joined the squadron and filled the vaccancy left by CM Deimos. He will immediatly take on the position as the squadron's Executive Officer (XO) in the wake of Tygra's unexpected real life obligations. Captain Goose has served the Emperor's Hammer for a long time, and his pin is even lower than Gunmans (as if that was possible). He will resume the traditional Phantom XO reports this Thursday. So look forward to it.
   
• Last week I reported that I would be finishing up my finals and well, I was. I finished them all on Wednesday and have spent the past few days back at home from the University. I now have even more time than usual, so look forward to useless projects being completed by me in upcoming weeks.
   
• A couple new Phantom Attribute Competitions are taking place right now. The Phantom Mascot and the Phantom Banner competition. The titles themselves are self explanatory but look below for more information. The banner competition is Wing wide so winner recieves an IS-SR!
   
• Squadron has a new webpage, recently designed by me. http://phantom.tiecorps.net/ Special thanks to Nuno for creating a webpage for Phantom Squadron. I don't unfortunatly know how to use frames. I hope you all like the page and feel free to send recommendations if you have any.

With the recent changes in structure within the squadron we have dropped to 33 citations. Expect more information about how you can personally help this after ECR V is over.
