Weekly Report

Esteemed WC,
For the week ending Dec 12, 2003:

I have successfully made it to Korea. I hope to be able to spend a lot of time working in the TC and DB while I’m here. The time difference has me 14 hours ahead of eastern time so my email responses and reports may be late or early accordingly. If it begins to look like we will go to the field so much, squadron activity suffers do to my lack of presence, I will allow someone else to take command.

LCM Arlins was injured in a robbery of his house and will be away for an extended period. My best wishes go out to him and his family with hopes of a fast recovery. Hope to hear from him
soon.

Pilot Activity:
LT Kaiser is being kept busy in RL. I received email from him letting me know that he is alive.

LT Arlins is currently away to heal up from injuries sustained. Get well soon.

LT Abhay has had a computer breakdown and doesn’t know how long he will be inoperational.

MAJ Talons and CPT Vector are keeping in contact via message board and email. I received email from CPT Vector when I returned.

I flew TC 125, 133, 148, DB 6, 7, 13.

News:
Most of the news is the same as always:

Check out the link below for squadron citations. We earn a citation when half of the assigned pilots fly a battle. The battleboard link below will show you which battles can be flown for a citation. We could use at least two more pilots. Talk to your friends, make them a copy of the game. Let’s just get some people.

Competitions
-The Sovereign Cup competition continues. LCM Arlins was unable to fly the last mission due to his incident so he failed to make the next round. I made the next round with help of a non-submission from my competition.

-Celebrate the Boozehounds: Wing I’s own Argon created TF243 and it is now on the battleboard. WC Mike has created a comp lasting 12 Dec - 19 Dec for flying the mission. High score to be awarded an IS-SW. You have a week to fly so hop into your Tie and get it flown.

-The Sovereign won the Sovereign Beer Cup competition. The strength of the Tie Fighter battle pulled it off but the overall showing was very low. Thus, the cantina has been closed by Proton.

General
-Let’s get the squadron citations up. Use the battleboard to choose battles that will help earn citations.

-MAJ Talons has thrown out Fallen Angels for a nickname. He also presented an idea for the graphic. It doesn’t sound bad to me. I will make an official competition for nickname, motto, and graphic. If there is limited submissions, we’ll go with MAJ Talons suggestion. I would also like to see a squadron patch. This isn’t a copy of Delta since I’ve mentioned this several times over the past couple months. I will also entertain the idea for a FCHG competition. I want to see some activity before I make a flying competition.

-The mission compendium now has zip files available. They will be available until Jan 1, 04. Get your EHBL working. The SCO will help as needed. The webpage for the zip files is:
