This week's Omega Squadron report. Note that Christmas is this week, for those of us who celebrate Christmas, and the New Year is just over a week away. If things seem a little slow, blame the holidays...
Squadron News:
- Wargame interest, from the Wargame idea as floated by WO/AD Pel: Manijack and Ixion are interested, while silence remains from the rest of the squadron.
- MAJ Artyis and LC Yoman advance to Sovereign Cup 2003 1/4 finals! Congrats to both!
- MAJ Manijak was accidentially transferred out of Omega when we tried to have him promoted to FL (Omega-2-1)! That's evidently the FO's "byotched transfer of the week" according to AD Proton. In any event, welcome back ;) Manijak, and congrats your new FL position!
Squadron Orders:
- Don't slack off too much this holiday season... I know a few of us have been quite productive, while others (such as myself) are barely finding time after work to write e-mail and sleep, let alone fly... at the very least, if you'd like News rights to the omegasquadron.org website, let me know...
- Recruitment: we're probably going to pursue CPT Savageaz (thanks for the e-mails, Sas!), but is there anyone else out there who's Omega material? I would like to get us back up to at least 9 members, 10 would be better. After all, if we do take on the whole Sov in a wargame, we need to be up to maximum allowed strength!

- VA Sarin has been named the new COO.

Anyone put up a Christmas tree in the cantina yet? Actually... that might not be a good idea, someone might get drunk and set it on fire with a flaming Timbal's Vodka Special or something. SWG activity appears to be pretty high too, with the introduction of player vehicles this week; all the more reason for me NOT to play SWG, as I really don't think I can afford that kind of addiction right now!
Oh, yes, someone mentioned drinks were on me, since I was promoted last week. TK-1512, flaming Bicardi 151 for everyone, please! That includes GN Devin and FA Kramer... okokok, maybe just a Sprite for Kramer...
