Avenger Squadron News:

Congrats to LC Azazel, who has reached the 200 CR level. I will check to see if there is a career medal for this milestone.
Avenger Squadron has reached 225 citations.
Zoron has flown all available TIE battles, congratulations to him! He is now working his way through the free missions.

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
Week of War: XvT WoW just ended, congrats to Az for his first of what will be many victories in the WoW. XWA WoW starts today, get out there and fly. These are hosted at BSC and flown on the Zone. Info can be found at Battlestats or on the Zone. All Avengers should participate at these!
Battlegroup Competitions:

BGCOM's ASF Supremacy comp 5: The Supremacy comp is reaching it's final stages. Diamondback holds a large lead while Avenger is solidly in second place. Zoron is the current top pilot with well over 500 points.
Avenger Iron Star Competitions: Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names: If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. Flights were recently renamed, but I am always open to suggestions.
Recruitment: Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots! Remember, no direct recruiting by anyone other than myself is permitted, so submit those name to me for consideration.

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the Week: Azazel! Az has returned to flying MP with a vengeance, racking up 13 LoCs and a DFC in the last week or so! MP is where we can dominate, so get your arses into your craft and fly in the WoW!

Activity: Some of you have had RL issues that have prevented you from flying as much as I would like. I can understand, but I need something from all of you during this SC5. XWA WoW is on, please find a time to get out to the Zone and make some matches. There are people there 24 hours a day so finding a match anytime shouldn't be too hard. If you can't fly MP, get me some SP pilot files. Zoron and Az have kept us in the hunt for the squadron crown in SC5. However, many have less than 100 points earned in this comp. We are the Avengers, we should ALL have at least 100 points in a one month period. Diamondback has 12 motivated pilots banging away with a more than 700 point advantage at this time. It's tough to compete with only 4 of us putting forth a real effort to keep our title as ASF escort squadron. Maybe some of you don't care to keep it. It's not too late for us to make up the difference. Those who have 0 points next to their name might be better off in another squadron where no activity is ok. It isn't OK here. Get going, guys!
