Weekly Report

Avenger Squadron News:

Congratulations to Avenger Squadron for achieveing the unheard-of and never before achieved level of 300 citations! This is a milestone to be proud of, we are now the "Charter member-300 citation club". Nobody can take that away from us.
SC5 is in full swing. Diamondback Squadron is currently in the lead with Avenger close behind, Zoron leading the way for all pilots with 319 points as of this writing. I'd like to see all of above 100 points by the end of the weekend. I need to lead by example so I will be flying my arse off this weekend.I'm currently at 78 points, with a few pending BSFs. Get flying, we are giving a 12 man squadron a good battle with only 6 of us contributing at this time.
Congratulations go out to Ace003 being awarded the Silver Star of the Empire by Darksaber for his outstanding flying in December, and he also received the Avenger Black Shirt. Way to go!

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
XvT and XWA Week of War: Xvt and XWA WoW hosted by Battlestats on the Zone. Mykos, our newest Avenger, dominated last month's XvT and XWA WoWs. The January WoWs will be counted as points for the Supremacy comp. This is one place where we can really put some distance between us and the other squads, so fly them!
Battlegroup Competitions:

BGCOM's ASF Supremacy comp 5: It is a month long, fly till you drop competition to determine the ASF escort ship, squadron and pilot. Zoron leads all pilots with a phenominal effore, Avenger runs close behind Diamondback for Escort squadron. Keep flying!
ASF Kill your buddy at EHCOC!!! Avenger Pilots are encouraged to continue beating the hell out of other ASF Pilots at #EHCOC, and each other! remember, a win for an Avenger is more points for us in the SC5, so put your pride aside and let your buddies beat you up! I will.
Avenger Competitions:

Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. These were remaned last month, but you are welcome to input your ideas at any time.
Recruitment Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots! We will probably lose a pilot at the end of the SC5 to an admiralship, so be on the lookout for pilots who fit the bill. However, no direct recruiting of any pilots is to be done by anyone but the Avenger CMDR.

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the week: Zoron! Z has utterly dominated the first 10 days of the Supremacy comp with non-stop flying. Nice work, Z!

SC5: I am really proud of the effort put forth by Az, QS, Zoron, Pell and Ace in the race to 300 citations! While there are those out there who poo-poo our effort and say it no big deal since there are only 8 of us, it has never been done by even a 6 member squad, plus our CRs speak for themselves. Can I hear 350? I suggest all members who have TIE concentrate on either, or both the IW-TIE battles and the DB-TIE battles for our next batch of citations. The TC-TIE ones are all pretty much in the bag, and while they will garner you points for the SC, will not really gain us much more in the way of citations. This is another way to prove we are the best of the best in both MP and SP!
