Update as of 2002-12-08

Some interesting things have happend during the course of the week. The squadron has seen the EH comeback from a member of the "original" Tau Squadron. Should he dust off his flying skills, a comeback in Tau is not out of the question.

We've also seen a increase in IRC activity, most notoriously in #tausquadron. This is great, but I think we could do even better as it's pretty much the same faces who returns. As we live in different time zones, this is a problem. Nevertheless, you should all make an effort to get on once in a while. Retired Tau members are also encouraged to get on and have a talk with the 'young lions'.

Myself and COL Reinthaler participated in OuterRimWar II (ORWII) this week. For all the bad things I've heard about the comp, I must say I got a positive impression of the comp. Bot system was nice, especially as it's connected to the php run website. This makes reporting matches a real ease. The comp runs from 2-11 pm EST in #outerrim. All members should try to make a showing, not only will it be good practice, you'll be representing the club in a good manner. Myself and Reinthaler should receive LoCs shortly.

On another and totally unrelated note, seems like Praetorian Commander is open yet again. Those of us who have been around for a while can't help but notice about the turnover rate of Prae CMDRs.
Personally I believe they can't keep their commander's because of two small, but essential, things which we in Tau posess. Namely a good supply of Tauquila and a 'talented' flight nurse (aka. CM Abbey Danger).
