If the past weeks have been somewhat quiet, this one changed the trend. Amongst other things there were 4 medals awarded during the week! More positive news is that the recruiting front is starting to look very lively. LT Ranth Conskallion has a couple of pilots in PLT Daedalus that are (probably) going to join Mem and I myself have managed to grab some recruits as well! If all goes as planned we'll soon see a full-packed Mem squadron...
On a more negative side...the TIE Corps mailing system still leaves me unnoticed of any approved BSF:s, awarded medals and such. It's quite difficult to do one's job as a CMDR when you don't know what's going on in your squadron! I have complained about the matter to HA Kawolski. Hope that the problem will be fixed soon.
Squadron News :
- As said above, we grabbed quite a lot of medals during the week. I was awarded a Gold Star of the Empire (GS), news that narrowly missed last week's report, and a Palpatine Crescent (PC) for reasons unknown. Nothing to complain, though [:-)]
- Congratulations also to LT BlackHero for the Palpatine Crescent and LCM B.J. Morgan for the Imperial Security Medal (ISM)!
- Squadron League CR#5 saw yet another 100 % participation from Mem with 7/7 submissions. You have all shown commendable efficiency so far, keep it up!

Combat Rating listings

Now you can view combat ratings of active pilots in the TIE Corps. A listing
of available ratings will be made available in the near future. Combat
Ratings are based on the number of Legion of Combat medals you earned where
each medal is worth one point.
Combat Records now available

The Personnel Profiles have been split into two sections: The Personnel
Record and Combat Record. The new Combat Record can be viewed at:
http://www.tiecorps.org/rosters/combatrecord.asp?record=xxxx where "xxxx" is
your PIN Number.
...or you can click the Flight Wings or the "Combat Record" link on your
personnel record.
Combat Records now show all the battles and free missions the pilot
completed, what high scores they hold, and which online combat events they
have participated in (only for those where results are stored on the
database).
Other Stuff :
- Attention all Flight Leaders: it's time for Mem squadron to have its Flight Groups nicknamed and motto'ed! I'm going to handle Flight I by myself (CMDR:s authority), but your respective FG:s are your concern. Discuss with your pilots prior to the decision (except BJ, who's all alone). However, the nicknames and mottoes require my approval before they are made official, so keep your ideas sensible.
Ongoing Events :
- SL Combat Run #6 was announced yesterday. It's FREE-TIE #91 - Mugaari Cargo Operation, submissions due to 31st of this month. Just to make sure that no one forgets it, the LaserLess scoring system is in use.
- According to the first Training Office communique released this week, TO Comp. #5 is off to a restart once the fifth mission gets finished, so stay tuned! More details at : http://www.impstar.net/to/comp5
