Greetings, everyone!
Welcome to the last Mem report of the year (and the decade,the century and the millennium as well!). I'm posting this already now on Friday because I know that I won't be able to do so in the next few days [;-)] . Festivities take their toll. I just hope that the casualty count won't be too high within Wing V and the TIE Corps still exist after tomorrow (bah, what's with the Y2K!?) ...anyhow, here's the report :
Squadron News :
- I'm happy to announce that Mem squadron is the Wing Commander's Own for December. That make us the last WCO of the millennium! Whoopee!
- This comes a bit late, but what the heck...LT B.J. Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCM) and at the same time transferred himself from Flight II to Flight III. Congratulations! (He's now flying a TIE Defender...watch out, everyone [:-P] )
- Thanks to the unrivaled efforts of LCM Ixion Deathbringer of Nun squadron, we now have brand new uniforms tailored for us.
Other Stuff :
- Now that every MEMber has a uniform of his own, the next goal will be to design the INPR (Imperial Navy Pilot Record that is). You can get the "INPR form" from the TIE Corps FAQ in the TC website. Just copy and paste the INPR part out. Let's try to complete this by the end of January 2000, right?
Ongoing Events :
- Training Office comp. #5 is still in progress. You may have seen that corny reminder post on the Message Boards, so the participation seems to be low(?). Try to participate if you have the time, there are 2/5 missions published. Details here: http://www.impstar.net/to/comp5
