Avenger Squadron News:

Congratulations to LC Azazel, probably the longest-serving MAJ in the fleet on his well-deserved promotion. And a thanks to Avenger Alum Sarin for his encouragement to petition the FO for this as well.
Due to RL issues, BlackHellKnight has gone to the reserves. We will miss you, and if you decide to return to the fleet, let us know, we will probably have a spot available for you. :P
Your CMDR is back from his one week vacation to Disneyland and his grandparents, and making up for lost time, much to the annoyance of his wife. :P
Quicksilver suggested new flight nicks/mottos, they have been approved by the powers that approve such things. He will receive an IS-BR for his suggestions at MSE time.
Congratulations to Ace for his 6-0 record in the EH vs TRA Christmas comp, leading the EH to victory!

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
Week of War: XWA WoW starts today. These are hosted at BSC and flown on the Zone. Info can be found at Battlestats or on theZone. All Avengers should participate at these!
Battlegroup Competitions:

BGCOM's SC V: The ASF Supremacy comp 5 has been approved, the competition starts January 1st. We are currently the ASF Escort Squadron from the last Supremacy Comp. I want to keep this distinction, and we can and should outfly entire Wings in the next one. Get ready to rumble! SP, MP, INPRs, mission/battle creation all score points for your squadron. I expect to get inundated with pilot files and reports of LoCs and DFCs won by the best group of pilots in the fleet!
Avenger Competitions:

Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. These were just renamed, but feel free to submit your own ideas anytime.
Recruitment Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots!

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the Week Ace! for the last 2 weeks, Ace has put up a relentless pace of MP activity, and even flew some SP while he was at it! He gets the Pilot of the week award for this week and last!

ASF SC 5: The Supremacy comp starts January 1st. prepare for as much online time as you can stand! There will be many pilots that don't ordinarily show up for MP comps there for us to feast on! Tune up your joysticks and get your flight suits ready! There will be no pilot file hoarding allowed, so if you have a mission or battle you are currently flying, finish it and get it to me by Dec 31st. I will be handling
the Vanguard's records during this comp. Good luck pilots, and let's retain the ASF Escort Squadron title and wrest the Ship title for ourselves too!
