Greetings, everyone!
Another slow week this time. Things have been quite static in Mem during the past few weeks, but that's not all that bad. At least we haven't had any unfortunate happenings around here, though our wing's numbers are on a slight decrease. Recruitment is the key issue here, but it's time consuming and not always very rewarding...but hey : no pain, no gain. After this very philosophical approach I present the actual report. Read and enjoy :
Squadron News :
- Squadron League CR#4 ended with 6/7 submissions from our squadron. Good work, everyone. We also got a Squadron Citation for Battle 131. The final results for the previous round haven't been published yet, so I haven't got that much info on the current standings in the league. Last time I heard that Mem was on the 14th position. Not bad!
- The biggest news of the week must be the reset of Battle High scores. The new scores will be based upon the much-spoken Laser-less scoring system, and the points awarded for a BHS are now calculated by multiplying the number of missions by two. Neat, huh?
- Another news (that doesn't concern our squadron directly) is the re-opening of Sadhe squadron. The task of its revival has been set upon the shoulders of CPT Sickman. May his reign prove succesful.
Other Stuff :
- Mem website has been updated to reflect the recent changes. More specifically, the images for Commendations of Bravery have been added to the archives. I'm not quite that satisfied with the current status of the website, as I haven't been able to do all the changes that I've been wanting to. They have to wait, though, as I haven't got that much spare time right now.
Ongoing Events :
- SL CR#5 was announced this week: it's TC-TIE 132 - Battle of the Bins, submissions due to March 15th. Let's keep up the pace!
