SQUADRON NEWS:
-WC Tiss has instructed all CMDRs to appoint citation officers, and we are to work our way up to 50 citations. So I'm opening it up to you guys, if any of you are interested in handling citations for the squadron, just send me an email saying you want to do it. No need for an application, I'm just looking for interest now. This job would require assigning battles for people to fly, allowing us to bring in citations for those battles. You'll have to go through people's Combat Record and see what battles people have flown to figure out what battles you want to assign.
However, if you do a good job, you can grab some big rewards come MSE time, since this position is so important. So if you're looking for that Bronze Star, this would be a great way to earn one!
-We still need a squadron patch! LCM Gaunt has shown interest in making one, so if anyone else wants to try for the Iron Star Bronze Ribbon, let me know that you're in the process of making a patch! Otherwise, I'll assume Gaunt is the only one participating and just give him the medal when he finishes.
WING/FLEET NEWS:
-Congratulations to our new Tactical Officer: AD Mike! Mike is an honorary member of Wing XIV, way to go!
-The datbase mailer is still kaput, so BSF and LoC confirmations are not being sent out. Check your profiles to make sure I didn't miss anything!
-Still no Training Officer, so any competitions are on hold until we get a replacement.
