Week 1

September 7-14, 2002

Gentlemen, Welcome to the new and improved Epsilon Squadron.

Squadron News

The reigns of command have been passed on to a new commander, CM Jennif Es’mith.
CM Ard Royber has been transferred to the reserves due to the loss of his ISP. He will be
missed.

SBRB3 is complete as of Sunday. I have only received one submission so far, but you still
have today to fly and get it in to me.

The new Wing I competition Whimpering Winds has been approved. It will begin
tomorrow. This will be a round robin competition, in which we will be flying against each
of the other 5 squadrons in the wing. There will be a total of 5 battles/missions for each
platform, one for each round. No head to head competitions for XvT or XWA, but single
player battles/missions. If you wish to fly more than one platform, please do. However, I
ask that if you do so, that you complete all 5 battles/missions for the platform(s)
throughout the competition. Individual and squadron efforts will be rewarded. Size of the
squadron does not matter, percentage participation does. If you have any questions
regarding this, please feel free to contact me. Our first round will be against Beta. Please,
gentlemen, let’s show the Wing what we can do.

CMDR’s Thoughts

The new command also brings a new policy. I base activity on what you do; fly, write,
draw, post, maintain/create web-pages, there are many ways of being active. If you have
problems, questions, please contact me. I’m more than happy to help and if I can’t I’ll do
my best to find someone who can.
