Squad News

Welcome to my 20th report! Start looking for them on
Fridays from now on, as this is what Mai requested.

CoHo had a nice active week, but I'd like to see more
activity from the rest of you. In all fairness, I had
a slow week too...but this is my last one! :P

Comps winding to a close, get me your ECR Fiction by
tomorrow. Also, fly TF161...there have been some
good tips posted on the email group, be sure to refer
to them.

Recruit, recruit, recruit!!! We really need more
pilots. Get out there and contact cadets and past
wingmates. Also, post on the Typhoon MB so
prospective Phooners can see what a great bunch of
people we are! Do some MP flying on 'the Zone' to
meet non-EHers. :P

Although the TC Site is back up, DON"T LOG IN!!! Due
to this setback, I am still unable to process your
BSFs, manually or otherwise. Therefore, please be
patient until such a time that I can do them. I am
also waiting. :)

Squadron Orders

1> Submit ECR fiction to me by TOMORROW, Sunday Nov
3rd. The only submissions I have right now is mine
and Trow's...and he's gone now. :p Get them to me, or
suffer the embarassment of not particapating in an
easy (500 words) fiction comp that you had over a
month to work on. :p CoHo, I realize you may have
already submitted to your previous CMDR, but please
send me a copy for my records. :)

2> Fly TIEFREE-161 for the Wing IV comp. I only have
CoHo's file so far. That leaves you, Badlan...since
Argyle still can't fly.

3> RECRUIT!!!!!!

4> Be otherwise active.

Competitions

ECR Phase 2 due TOMORROW!

Comp with Wing IV. Fly TIEFREE-161 and submit it to
me by Saturday Nov 9th.
Apparently the highest possible score is 138,506 so
shoot for that. :)
IS-SW for the top scorer, IS-BW for the second highest
scorer!

Mai wants a new nickname for the Chal. The nickname
is currently "A Wind to Shake the Stars", but she'd
like to have something that has more of a flavour of
what we are and the pride we have in ourselves.
Here's your chance to make a mark on the Challenge,
and come up with that new Nickname! Send your
suggestions in to eloniel@dsl.pipex.com, and the Wing
will be able to vote on all the suggestions on the
Wing X message boards. An IS-SR will be given to the
winning suggestion, and an IS-BR to the second place,
along with the sight of your Ship Nickname up in
lights on the roster pages.
