Let us see if we can get this done by the end of the week. It would be nice. See squadron orders for the specific files.
This week in Alpha
One party after another! Kahooli got a high score on his free mission 256. Way to go. Then Rancorous (Cube), gets Alpha Scholar. This award was a squadron award for the studious created by then commander Sarriss. He is the Second Alpha to ever get this award. Sarriss was the first as she had done every single course there was at that time. She was the original Professor for the graphics course. Cube, it is an honour to give you that award. He also recieved an ISM for his incredible work as a new pilot. Congrats to you, again, Cube.

Squadron Orders
Get these missions flown!
TC 7, 175
TF 208
I have gone through the entire Wing roster and only found these battles and missions made by our members. This means that if you have flown these missions, we should have citations for each of them. TC 175 (Escape from Coruscant) and Free TIE 208 (Talons' first patrol) are not in our citations. Let us get this done, folks. There are no others made by the wing in any of the platforms listed. I will be assigning the Ronin series next week. These are Free TIE missions 8 through 14. Be ready to fly them if you have not already done so. Remember you can fly any platform available for FCHG points regardless of what training company you originated from.

Squadron Concerns
The only files we do not have in citation are the ones I made. How embaressing. Do you not like me or something? Am I hated? It sure seems that way when my battle and mission is not even on the citations list. Do it! Do it do it do it do it!

Neale and Roger, touch base with me and Kahooli. As flight leaders, I want communication between each of us. This includes monthly flight reports sent to each of us and talk between us for competition ideas, challenges, problems between the flights, members, and each other. We are in command of this squadron and I would hate to bring the hammer down and force a rigid structure. As everyone knows, I have no fear of the Airlock. Talk to me. If you feel you are not able to continue as a flight leader or member of this squadron, let me know. I am very understanding, but silence is not good. We may all be Silencers, but that does not mean we are silent to each other.

Commander's Rant
Whom shall we assassinate? Let me think. ??? ??? ??? No one, yet.

Final Words
I am thinking of having a Squadron monthly competition of a sorts. I am currently waiting for approval for a wing wide competition (do not know exactly what is allowable for awards) where you design the new Alpha banner. The old one is no longer valid and I need to have it replaced ASAP. The details are pending. If you are an artist, picture painter, or anything like that, please gear up for the comp that will hopefully run from the 6th (D-day) to the end of the month. Myself, Kahooli, and Roger will judge the submissions and choose the best one. Hopefully I will be able to award an ISM for first place. If not, it will be all ribbons for first second, and third place. Multiple submissions will be accepted and please indicate what one you want as your primary. That will be the one used for consideration. Good luck and good designing (when it gets approved).
As for other competitions for Alpha, they will be in various non-flight media. This will include writing, drawing, trivia, and other things. Flight leaders, let us put our heads together and come up with some ideas. The awards will be Alpha's best, Commander for a week, etc..

With all respect,

Major Talons Pryde, Alpha Squadron commander of Wing I on board the Sovereign class SuperStar Destroyer Sovereign, reporting.
