The turnout for the PlayOff for the League was fine, I got almost 100% perticipation and those whou couldn't fly , hand technical issues and no other reason not to. Pretty nice, ain't it ?

Pay attention to the fact that we will take on some other WIng in a cometition soon. Stay sharp for details !

The competition is almost ready to start people. I think you're all a
little familiar with Wing XVIII and of recent events. All I have to say
is when this comp starts, make it your top priority. I think that our
actions in flying will do more than any combined emails.

We're a strong wing. Lets show the opposition that. Be prepared to fly
a TIEFREE mission and a XWAFREE mission within a two week period. More
info will come as I get it. (waiting for the moderator to release the
missions)

Sovereign Fiction and Flying Competition
-CPT Viper has created a new competition that is approved by SOVCOM/AD Proton
- This competition will be in 2 parts the first those involved will be given the information that they will use to write a story involving all Wings of the SSSD Sovereign. This will include 4 missions discribed in detail. From the winning story I will then create 3 battles 1 for TIE 1 For XvT and 1 For XWA from the missions described there in. part 1 of the competition will end 05-31-04 (note: Admiral Proton, General Stele Pellaeon and myself will judge this part of the competition) From 06-01-04 to 07-01-31 I will create and test the battles. On 08-01-04 part 2 will begin and theose involved will fly the platform of choice and turn their pilot files in to their commanders who will zip and forward them to me by 12:00AM 09-01-04 to be tallied and winners decided.

Commendations of Loyalty

I realize now that I made a minor mistake in all of this medal re-awarding. Everything has gone more than perfectly but for the Commendations of Loyalty that were added this year. I awarded some, but not all of them, and this has created a problem. So, I ask that all COM/WC duos send to ops@emperorshammer.org the listings of all their pilots that are owed CoLs, and I will add them into the database. PINs are always helpful. Please try not to double-award CoLs, because as we all know this is just something that will have to be reversed. Thanks in advance for cooperation!

New survey

There's a new survey up relating to mailing lists/groups. It's asked about whether you would use roster-integrated mailing lists/groups.

Just to clarify the language used in the question, there are already "mailing lists" available for CMDRs and above, which are just generated lists of email addresses. What the latest survey question is relating to is having an egroup-style mailing list/group based upon your current TIE Corps position. For example, members of Alpha squadron would be on the mailing group alphasquadron@ehtiecorps.org (or whatever name it would have).
