Greetings Pilots,
Well, my first few days as Avenger CMDR have already
led to a few disappointments, but I hope that we will
not be seeing many more in the months to come. Avenger
Squadron is THE Tie Corps multiplayer Squadron by
definition, but unfortunately AES has become some kind
of retirement home, and that people, is what we’re
going to change.
For those of you who don’t know me: I’ve just
transferred from the vanguard, was WC and CMDR there,
before that I was with Avenger, arguably the best Elite
squadron ever. I’ve flown a lot of SP, MP, done IWATS…
all that good stuff… and… I’ve been in the EH for 4
years… quite a long time… Well that’s enough about me,
you already know too much… on to the rest of the report!
An E-mail was sent to everyone on Friday and I have
received ONLY one response, for the rest of you I am
still waiting. Even though this is supposed to be an
elite squadron I will be nice, so therefor you have
until the 1st of May to contact me, after that, your
gone.
Flying… Yes, flying. Plenty of opportunities: XvT WoW
is on now, XWA WoW is on next week, 24/7 Comps in
#EHCOC AND SP Battles. I would very much like to see
some flying activity from you all by the end of the
month. Standards of activity will be set within the
next few days so look out for a few more e-mails from
me.
Now on to the all too famous subject of recruiting: I
ask that you contact myself with any suggestions for
possible Candidates, people that you believe are good
enough to be in Avenger etc… If you are thinking about
leaving the squadron soon, it would be a good Idea that
you look for someone to replace you, that way we can
always keep a stable number. Now as for where you can
recruit: any wing that is in the 20s is off limits
UNLESS you wish to transfer there in exchange. The
Vanguard will also be off limits for the next 3 months
because I just came from there and I don’t want to
create any controversy. All other Elite Squadrons are
obviously off limits. Other than those little rules,
use your imagination and seek out some fresh new
potential Avengers.
Note: NO ONE is to officially invite anyone to the
squadron, I’ll be taking care of that since it is my
job.
For the next reports to come I'll be addint CR & FCHG
rankings, fleet news that matters, cool web page of the
week, more things of the week to be determined, etc...
I'll be working on a nice little HTMLish version of
this report just to make us all happy... if you cant
take it or don't like it... then I'll just stop...
Also, I'm requesting new Comps this week etc... so
expect a lot of stuff on Saturday!
