TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #62 – Submission date: May 18th 2014
Introduction

Welcome to another TCCOM report,

We’ve finally reached the point we expected to when we commissioned the ISD Warrior. Both ships have now 4 squadrons each, with the reopening of Alpha Squadron in the Hammer, and the opening of Sin Squadron in the Warrior. Now comes the difficult part: keeping them all running. If we succeed at that, we’ll aim at opening the 5th squadron in each ship.

Alpha Squadron was created with the leadership of newly promoted CM Landon Cruise, who has definitely earned his shot at leading his squadron, and I am sure he will perform admirably. Landon wills immediately followed by 2 of his newest recruits, Sub-Lieutenants Neuronmoon and Asertym, who already got their promotions to Lieutenant. Welcome, and congratulations on your prompt promotion! And just a few minutes ago, Alpha had their two Flight Leader positions filled, with 2 more of Landon’s recruits: LT Jeffery Donger transferred from Epsilon to be Alpha’s Flight 2 Leader, while LT Chrome transferred from Beta to be Flight 3 Leader! Good luck to Alpha and all its new members!

Sin Squadron was commissioned with CPT Plif as its commander. The new commander of the Sinners has recently rejoined the fleet from the Reserves, and he has hit the ground running, thus earning his change of leading one of our newest squadrons. Like happened in Alpha, Plif was followed by another of Landon’s new recruits, SL Turok, and also by CPT Flelm, who left Theta Squadron to get Sin’s Flight 2 Leader position! Best of luck to Sin Squadron!

The Flight Leader spot left by CPT Plif in Kappa Flight 2 was filled by CM Repulsor, previously in Kappa Flight 3! Congratulations, Commander, and good luck!

Other than the ones assigned to Alpha and Sin, we’ve had another 3 new recruit joining our ranks. Welcome to SL FBK and SL Andural, who were assigned to Kappa Squadron, and to SL Roadkill, who was assigned to Beta Squadron! Glad to have you all aboard! And congratulations are also in order to Andural and Roadkill, who already earned their promotions to Lieutenant, the same happening to SL DeMiko! Congratulations!

And if it wasn’t enough, we’ve had a veteran rejoining us! Welcome back to MAJ Bryan, who also got a spot in Kappa Squadron. Hope you have a great time once again, Major!

The sad news of the week goes for the AWOL’ing of Kappa’s LCM Rana Grande, LCM Godo Nurok and LCM Tyrian. I hope they are found in following search and rescue missions. Other small changes in Kappa’s roster, CPT Dante was moved to Flight 1, SL FBK was moved to Flight 3, and COL Viper Pred was moved to Flight 1.

The MSE awards for the ISD Warrior have all been awarded as well as the medal for the Hammer COM! Congratulations to Bronze Stars awardees GN Pickled Yoda, CPT Plif and LT Rhace, and also to RA Elwood the Brave, CPT Flelm, MAJ Jedgar and CM Starkillerny for their Palpatine Crescents, and COL Jarek La’an, COL Mark Schueler and GN Gilad Pellaeon for their Imperial Security Medals!

With the aforementioned new recruits that joined, CM Landon Cruise has been awarded 6 Medals of Instruction! Unbelievable! Well done, Commander!

It’s noteworthy GN Yoda’s achievement in reaching the highest position in the TIE Corps training history! Congratulations to Yods, who now has 48 courses completed, against 47 from FA Brukhar and 45 from both AD Jedi Eclipse and HA Anahorn Dempsey. Well done!

RA Zósite’s “*THIS* is the TIE Corps” competition has reached its deadline this week, with several submissions. We’ll go through all of them for grading, and the results should be announced some time this week. My appreciation for those who participated!

Raise the Flag is reaching its launch date, June 1st, and we’ll probably have the rules for the competition released in my next report, but there is something I’d like to mention before hand: the competition will run from June 1st to June 30th, as you know. This means that the activities that are valid for the competition must be performed during that month, and not before. Submissions of pilot files and MP matches flown before will not be accepted in the competition. I’d like to see everything processed on May 31st so we can start June without any pending submissions, not to get in the way of competition scoring. Commanding Officers, please make sure that you coordinate with your pilots to comply with this.
