Quite a bit of activity this week, at least by the-slow-season standards.
Also, someone was in the parking space of my planet-side vehicle this week. It's a shame I'm not allowed to park my TIE with me when I'm off duty.
It would really solve my parking headaches, either by landing on the roof, or vaporizing the twits who have parked in my reserved (!) parking spot, plus the commute time savings too. I'm in an area probably filled with covert Rebels, though, so maybe advertising my presence with a TIE Guardian isn't the best idea...
Squadron News:
- Fly.
- We fly anyway (in between cantina visits, KotOR time, SWG time...)... but, fly a little more. It never hurt!
- Fly some more.
- I hope to reach Paladin rank in the FCHG this week. I know, ambitious, considering how long I've been at Knight... but hell, if FCHG rank does matter even a tiny bit in ImpStorm V, I might as well fly a bit more!
- EHBL experience: well, it ran pretty smoothly on my machine, once I removed/reinstalled TIE and upgraded to Application Comparability Toolkit 3.0., AND dumped some .tfr's into my TIE95 directory (what kinda bug is that???). In other words, what a pain in the ass it was to get the EHBL to run, but on the bright side, once it did run, it's been OK so far. I still have all my hair and I haven't sobered up from the cantina, which is a good sign.
Squadron Orders:
- Sovereign Squadron League 2004 is coming up. Get in practice time, the better to kick ass! I could care less that we have a title, much less TWO, to defend. Simply doing what we do best, kicking ass and taking names in our TIEs, and that oughta cover it! (no, I didn't mean drinking in the cantina!)
