COMPETITIONS AND ORDERS

1. Birthday Competition:
1) Wing X Birthday Drunken Revelry:

This is a graphic and fiction comp. Between becoming the new TCBG
Flagship and celebrating yet another birthday, the parties have become
out of control. Create a graphic displaying the 'pleasantries;' write a
fiction (under 1,000 words) describing any aspect of the "party."

Topic(s) are fairly open as long as they have something to do with a
drunken party in the cantina, or some other form of party. :P

The top graphic and top fiction will receive an IS-SR. Runner up in each
category will receive an IS-BR.

Competition will run all month. Submissions are due March 2nd.

2) Wing X Birthday FCHG Race

Not very complex. Whomever can fly the most amount of missions in a
seven-day period will earn themselves an IS-SW. Runner-up steals an IS-BW.

Runs from today until next week, February 14th.

And there you have it! Fict/gfx will run the course of the month. FCHG
race is a week long. When it ends, another comp will start up...and
another one when that one ends!

3)This comp is a TIE Golf comp! Hooray TIE Golf! :P

The rules are simple, and most of you already know how it works. But for those newer members amongst us...

The mission assigned for this comp is TIE-FREE #180. You are to fly the FREE. However, in this comp, the lowest score wins the IS-SW, with second lowest getting the IS-BW. Rules are that you must complete all of the Primary objectives; no using the cheats; no killing friendly craft; and no laser burn (shooting off lasers into space for 10 minutes to lower your score :P).

2. Boss the COM around! An unofficial comp, but if you can get a total of 5 wing members to "sign" a "petition" to get Stuart to do a certain activity (IE, fly 10 battles, create a battle, make up 40 trivia
questions, etc.), he'll do it!

3. Wing X Propaganda Comp! The Challenge site ( http://isdchallenge.tcbg.net/ ) has a link for "About," where prospective pilots can read the History of the Challenge. Currently, it's blank, with the filler text and graphic that was put up when the site was created. For this comp, you are to write a form of Propaganda to be put on this page. In under 500 words, write something that will
convince prospective drunken Wing X-ers to join up! Winner will receive a IS-SR, and their piece will be used on the site. Runner up gets a IS-BR. Any questions, feel free to ask 'em. Submissions go to
me at coranel@isdchallenge.tcbg.net, while CC'ing your CMDR. Comp runs all month long. Got till Jan. 31 to get them in!


4. New TCBG Banner comp. The TCBG has had the same banner for quite some time, and needs something new. Members of the TCBGs will have a week to create a new banner for the battlegroup. The winning banner will earn an IS-GR and be uploaded to the database.IS-GR to first place, IS-SR to second, IS-BR to third. Submissions go to Bubba, with a CC to your CMDR's.


-Star Wars Galaxies
This still isn't being done! While playing SWG is counted as activity, I would like to see more "tangible" forms of activity. So, when submitting "Played SWG" as a weekly activity, please also include a short summary of what sorts of adventures your SWG character had that week. It can be a short paragraph or you can get creative and turn it into a polished story, but I want to see something to show off when considering activity medals. ;)

-Battleboard
Thanks to Beef we all remember the Battleboard. It is an excellent chart that shows us which battles which pilots should fly in order to earn us a citation. A squadron is awarded a citation for each battle that half of its members have flown. So if you suddenly feel a hankering for some flying (which you should), pop over to this link and fly something that will earn us another citation! Thunder isn’t full and neither is the wing or the club. Please, contact any people you know that are interested in Star Wars and tell them of our great club. This also means setting a good example and generally being a gentleman or lady when on message boards, game servers, or anywhere else where you are representing the EH. Behaving badly in public smears our image and deters recruits.
