Intro

First of a few words from CPT Alexander Anderson...

*sits down in a big easy chair next to a roaring fire*

Well folks, its been a good run. When i started here for the second time in Inferno our CMDR didn't speak any english and we were the smallest active squadron on the ship. Since then I believe i've been able to help this squadron become the contendor it is today. Finally Inferno can actually compete again against the other squadrons on the ship. I am sad to step down as CMDR, but I realise that it is something that has to be done for the good of the squadron. I am hoping our new CMDR can bring some much needed time and effort into the squadron that I have simply become unable to give. With his molding I think Inferno can become the biggest and best squadron on the ship. In the big picture my time here has been brief, but I know I have come a long ways and I hope you all have too. I've made some great friends in the time that i've been here, Great Griffin, Dujhod, and I thank all of you for your participation. Without the FM's and FL's this squadron could never have grown or stayed as active as it has. We could never have actually placed in some of the recent competitions we've taken part in. Finally I must thank CPT DV for his gracious hand in taking over the squadron. I thank you in advance for keeping the dream I had for Inferno alive.

Thanks AA. it's a pleasure to be here.

Now I've been contacted by all of you, AA, Dujhod, Dulcatos, GG and Calvin so I am content. Boliv I don't really need any contact from as I know him well enough already and he's always on IRC anyway. I've taken the liberty of adding everyone that owns an IM program to my contact list to make contact easier.
Each and everyone of you has talked to me about having busy RL lives with their studies. I understand that perfectly and as I mentioned to all of you, when you really feel you need to take some time off because of exams or to boost up your marks, let me know in advance so that I know what's going on. What I want to do though, is keep this squad at 6 pilots minimum, so before transfering to the reserves consider the squad's survival as well as your reasons for leaving.
I've set up three competitions i believe you will enjoy, see below for details and have fun :) As for me, it's good to be back.

TC News/BG News/Wing News

- The TO, the one and only VA Stuart feels left out because of his crappy reports :P If anyone would be kind enough to make him an HTML TO report template, he would very much appreciate it. A favour for the former COM? Winner receives an IS-GR, second place gets an IS-SR. Sadly if your unfortunate enough to be the only one kind enough to send him a template, the ungrateful squirrel will only offer you an IS-SR. Pfffft :P

- A Graphic Artist is required to produce a map for the next Imp Storm Game. If your good with GFX and want to help out, e-mail HA Pyrium Patel. Even though he advertises that you will get a lot of shiny medals, one is all you'll get!

- AD Reaper Command Attache to the Flight Office has resigned his position. Apps for a new CA are not open.

- The position of Logistics Officer is open for applications.

- AD Joey wants people to register their IRC channels. Anyway, I didn't really get that, check ehtc.org for the details.

- Bubba where are you?

-Any LTs with problems adjusting to life in TC, should ask Lieutenant Commander Prost. The wise old Grandfather as named by C, has been the longest serving LCM most of us have ever met. He has a lot of tips, tricks and advice like the immensly popular "How to avoid a Promo" and the incredible "Inactivity is Positivity!"

- LCM P ----> CM P? Hmmmm....

Transfers/Promos/Medals

- None this week, but very soon

Squadron Comps

1.INFERNO WEEKLY BONANZA

Every Monday this comp will begin anew for one month. The aim is to get the most points. Highest scorer each week gets the IS-BW/IS-BR with a very good chance of earning a merit medal too.

Here's how the point system works:

Intellectual section Fiction: 1-10 points depending on quality and humour. All submissions must be in either e-mail or .doc format.
GFX: 1-10 points. All submissions must be in jpg or gif format. New INPRs also qualify for this section.
Trivia: Each week 10 trivia questions will be sent out. You will be awarded 1 point for each question you answer correctly. +5 points to the person who answers the most questions correctly. If more that one person answers the most questions correctly (ie: 2 people have the best score of 8), then the one who sent out the answers first will gain the 5 points.
IWATS: 7 points for each IWATS completed.
To earn the medal (IS-BR) a minimum of 10 points is required in each round.

The Trivia questions will be sent out between Monday at Thursday at my discretion. So check your mail everyday to be the first to send out the answers. The questions will be Star Wars and EH related. So be prepared to google search, report search and use your brain. I won't make the questions impossible to answer.

Flying Section
Battle/Mission Completion: 2 points for each completed mission, 2 extra points for each mission High Score. For a Battle, 2 x the number of missions in the battle.
MP Victory: 10 points for each MP victory.
FCHG advancemement: 10 points will be awarded for each FCHG advancement from Grenadier to Legionnaire. 20 points from Executor to Imperator.
To earn the medal (IS-BWs) a minimum of 15 points is required.

For both these sections there will be 4 rounds, which each round starting on Mondays. The First round will begin this Monday 14th of March.
