CMDR/CM Alexander Anderson reporting in for Inferno Squadron on 1.18.05

Squadron News

Greetings pilots. First off I would just like to apologize for my long period of inactivity. Initially I was going to retire, due to the oncoming busy year of schooling that I knew would take away from my duties. I was talked out of that by a charismatic and savvy officer who shall remain nameless, but will eventually be the death of me. School hit like a freight train and duties became secondary. The train keeps running, and I'm still pinned under it, but i'm burning some midnight oil to get this report out to you guys, my faithful pilots who have stuck with it through the end. Its that perserverence that has kept Inferno alive. We've had great moments, and then we've had some pitiful moments, and I'm embarassed to say i've been one of the main causes for one of those pitiful moments this last month, but I *hope* to remedy all that. I know you dont want to read any more so I will get on to the squadron status. Final apologies to everyone.
Squadron Status

First off, we need to see what we can do about some activity. Good old CPT Dujhod has kept up the activity even when it seemed that I had died, and I commend him for that! I'd like to see everyone fly one measely Free battle from any system this week, and then we'll see how we're doing next week and re-evaluate our situation and make some plans for the future and possibly set some goals for what comps I'm going to push you guys to participate in. I freely advise you to go search out comps on your own to do, though, dont limit yourself to what I suggest.
Secondly, I am getting old and decrepit...crippled really...ok maybe not but college is taking its toll as it always does and i'm going to need a successor. Anyone interested in working towards becoming CMDR of Inferno, please let me know and we will see what we can do to make that happen sometime in the future. Join the fastrack to management!
Thirdly, I believe I have chosen a squadron theme song! It will be announced next week and I will be willing to send it to anyone FOR PURPOSES OF EVALUATION AND CRITIQUE only so that we aren't violating any copywrite laws here. Its a song by Symphony X if anyone here is familiar with the band.
Last of all, get in touch with me. If you aren't able to do anything else, if you broke both your arms and cant type, dictate a quick e-mail to me letting me know and we'll make some arrangements with you so I stop badgering you to do things, or at least less things, hey, you can still fly with your teeth!
