Avenger News:

Congratulations to Major Zoron who hit the 2000 FCHG career level, and was awarded the Silver Star of the Empire! More on this later.
Congratulations also go out to LC Azazel who has reached #4 in all-time FCHG. I have also cracked the top 10 for the first time, currently at #8.
I publicly congratulated all who have participated in us achieving the 300 citation level at last Sunday's TC meeting. We stand at 320 now, with 350 easily attainable. More on that in CMDR's thoughts section.
XvT WoW has started today on the Zone. I don't think the leaders of the SC5 do much MP, so here's a chance for us to take the lead back. Go fly MP!!

Medals and Awards:

Zoron receives the Silver Star of the Empire for 2000 career FCHG!
Zoron also receives the Avenger Black Shirt for his 500+ point gain in the SC5 so far. But, don't stop now, or I'll catch ya! >:P




Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
XvT Week of War: Friday started the XvT WoW hosted by Battlestats on the Zone. I would like to see participation from the Avengers to boost our SC5 points.
Battlegroup Competitions:

BGCOM's ASF Supremacy Comp 5: We have reached the halfway point. Diamondback leads by about 400+ points at this time with double the pilots participating. XvT and XWA WoWs give us the opportunity to close the gap because I see few DB members participating in MP comps. Go fly some MP!
ASF Kill your buddy at EHCOC!!! Avenger Pilots are encouraged to continue beating the hell out of other ASF Pilots at #EHCOC, and each other. Points is points. :)
Avenger Competitions:

Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. Flights were recently renamed, but I'm always open to suggestions.
Recruitment Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots! But remember, do not recruit them openly yourself, just submit their names to me for consideration.

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the week: Azazel! Az has just about flown every battle there is to fly. Great work, Az! Now it's up to the rest of us to fill in the gaps.

Citations: We are now at 320 citations. I went through the TIE battles and found about 30 that we did not have citations for. Concentrate on flying those if you have not, cause 350 is not that far away!

XvT WoW: MP is out primary focus, so show the world we are the cream of the crop in MP. The WoW is on now, let's get back into the Squadron lead by blowing away the competition in the next 2 WoWs. Mykos, you ruled the world last month, I hope you have it in you to dominate again this month. I'll wing ya. :) This is our opportunity to get ahead of DB, so get to your fighters!

Skipping missions: Battles are not to be submitted with skipped missions. I will not submit a file manually that has a skipped mission. I agree with this policy as disseminated by the TAC. As long as the distinction between skipped missions and 0 point FLOWN missions is made, I have no problem. None of you have provided me with skipped mission pilot files, so this isn't a problem here. However, with the recent furor over this, I want to make sure that policy is clear to all. We are here to have FUN, first and foremost, but there are rules we have to follow.
