NEWS

On Thursday a car crashed in our garden and missed the house by just a few millimeters, pictures and the full report will come with the Challenge Newsletter.

Because of this I was busy in RL the last days and we aren`t still finishing the repar works in the garden. But that’s my problem, not yours, so back to the EH stuff :)

As you have seen last weekend, a promotion was approved, so lets all congratulate again CPT Alimet !!!

The Wing VIII WC spot is open for applications, after RA Indaro Gallia got the position as new Colossus COM. Our congratulations.

We also welcome CPT Chris McCollum as new Tempest CMDR and LC Styles as new Cyclone CMDR, both are replacing the former CMDR’s Dirk Logan and Mell Kerrigan who both stay as Flight Members in their Squads. So also our congrats to those two :)


Last but not least, a little change happened also in Inferno Squadron, LCM Blaine informed me that he will transfer over to the Reserves because of RL reasons. I thank Blaine for his work in Inferno and I think we all wish him justthe best in his future, If you ever want to come back Blaine, here will always be a place for you ! Thanks man.

LT Jon Ardan reported to me that he finally got a new conn and can now start to kick ass, YAY !

And yes, the rumors are true, the Praetorian guy thinks he needs to recruit from Wing X, I`m sure he will be disappointed when he gets from all sides a one finger salute ;)

And to finish this section, I got promoted to Major, so drinks are on me these days, have fun everyone !

Details:
Every Pilot has to write a part for an ongoing plotline that will be used for the creation of a Battle. The plot can be extended to a fiction.

Recruitment Competition

The ones of you, who recruit 1 new member gets an ISM awarded, if anyone recruits more then one member to the Squad or the Wing, just gimme a hint and i will try to get some more shinny thing for you :)


Platform Competition

My old offer still stands, an ISM for completing the first 10 Battles of a Platform ! so you can get a maximum of 3 ISM's for cheap flying, go for it !

Details:
Flying comp between Yod and Inferno squadrons. Squadron scores will be averaged over the number of pilots in each squadron (excluding those on leave). Highest squadron average wins. The winning squadron chooses the losing squadron's motto and nicknames for the month of March. IS-BW to the top scorer in each squadron.

We end this comp in February, and If we pick up a fight with another Squadron I want to know from YOU what Battle we could pick up.

Also, the Souvereign Squadron League will start somewhere in March, I will sign us up for the TIE and XvT part. I want to know who of you want to fly for which part, and if you feel so, you can also join both parts.
And also, I have just a few submissions for the Minefield Comp, get yourself in the cockpit and fly if you haven`t already !

Finally :)

Finally it is weekend, work is far behind me and a whole free week lies in front of me, joy, pure joy ! I`m really sorry if some things were delayed in the last week. Things are going now their normal way again, the sick ones at work have returned and little Frey justneeds to do his work, instead the work for 3 ones. Activity this week was ok, could have been more, could have been less, keep it up guys !
Alimet was so good and designed a citation sheet for us, so all of you are able to see which Battle would bring us a citation and which one would be to increase your FCHG rank.

Speaking of FCHG rank my mind slips over to medals, there are medals for reaching special steps in the FCHG ranks, but with a new OPS we might have changes in it. I need to informate myself, so I will send a medal update to you within the next days, stay tuned.

That’s it so far for the last week, lets hope the next one will be cooler.
