SQUADRON NEWS:

1) In a stunning turn of events, *I* flew a TIE mission as part of the Imperial Storm 3 competition on Friday. The mission was boring and I accidentally shot down one of my own craft (-50000 points??), but I did finish with a score of about 50,000.. oh well. Hopefully my submission was counted, as the IS multiplayer battle was reflown on Sunday.

2) MAJ Jonathan flew XWA-FREE 63 this week.. great job Jon :)

3) No word yet on if we're in the Colossus Squadron League or not.. the guy in charge said he could probably get us in..

4) As it turns out, I will soon be losing my job as Professor of the Squadron Management II course :p But I'm not getting fired (well, sort of), an SM/3 test is being developed and the FO will be grading the tests. So if you want to take SM/2 before it's extinct, hurry and do so! :)

5) And a quick ode to summer.. Hooray for American Gladiator reruns on TNN, catching up on your soaps, downloading 50 MB live Grateful Dead MP3s for 4 hours on your dialup connection, and working until 11:30 PM :p
