CMDR/COL Ricardo reporting in for Lamed Squadron on 07.03.02...

SQUADRON NEWS:

1) Colossus Squadron League recap/news: We lost our second match, which was against Inferno Squadron, 4-0. A disapointing loss, but I was again happy to see three submissions, from Valic, Jonathan and myself.. and thanks to MAJ Malik as well, who flew, but not in time for me to get it submitted. Let's get 4-5 entries in our next matches!

We will fly again next week, against Nu Squadron, who we need to beat forcefully! :) Talon Squadron withdrew from our group, so we aren't flying every week now.

2) Everyone's second-favorite Former Wing IV Wing Commander (:P), GN Reaper, has decided to transfer to the Reserves for a while, and take a little break. Believe me, extended periods of time in charge of the likes of this wing makes that a very appealing choice :p But we will really miss Reaper's leadership, and hopefully he'll find his way back someday. In the mean time, Wing IV is in the capable hands of MAJ Halcyon, who has quickly shown himself to be a slave-driving Acting-WC, by making me submit my Monthly Squadron Evaluation for June.. by JULY 1st!?! :p

3) After about a week in the Reserves, MAJ Malik has returned to Lamed Squadron.. Welcome back; we almost missed you! :p Malik even flew a couple missions, FREE-XWA 36, FREE-TIE 198, and FREE-TIE 104.

4) Lamed will soon have another new member.. A new-old member actually :)

5) MAJ David will be on leave starting Friday and lasting a week or so.

6) Competition news.. CPT Paradox of Kaph will be starting a Wing IV trivia competition soon. And you can look forward to a competition against Kaph Squadron.. but not for a couple weeks, and it'll be when we're not too busy.
