THREE CHEARS FOR SIN!!! SL Desmos has just joined Sin Squadron yesterday! Already he's done quite a bit. He flew the first round of the Sin-Theta Challenge, flew two more missions on his own, submitted in INPR, and is working on his uniform. Sheesh! I love to see that kind of activity. Keep up the good work and that goes for the rest of you all. I'm beginning to see more activity from everyone. Also, there are still cadets out there...

SL Desmos has joined Sin Squadron in Flight 2 as 2-2.
The Tactical Office has approved the Sin-Theta Challenge and started earlier this week. First phase of the competition is to fly FM-110. The three top scoring pilots will advance on to play Theta's three top scoring pilots. Good luck to all and try to fly it on HARD for a higher score. FM-110 is due Sunday night.
Operation: Release the TIEs is in it's first battle at Lyarna, aka "Battle at Lyarna." I know, could've been a little more creative name but the next battle will have a more catchier name. :P Any ways, LT Squall and LC Inkwolf have been called to the battle. Wish you luck guys and remember to fly as best as you can.... if you don't you're pretty much dead. :P

Squadron Orders

I've gotten some tfr files from most of you for FM-110. The latest to turn it in is tonight. Then I'll announce who the top 3 pilots are to advance on to Theta! We can do it boys. Just fly on HARD and try your best.
Fiction part for the competition of Wing II against Omega is to write a story in which Wing II pilots find ways to ridacule those Omega boys. Think of something guys. Should be really interesting. Stories due by the 20th of this month.
LT Squall. You are to fly FM-126 for the Operation: Release the TIEs. Don't forget to fly it now. It's due 11/23. Just remember to leave the turkey out of the cockpit this Thanksgiving and things should go smoothly for you.
We are now able to get citations again! We should take advantage of the fact that we now have 6 pilots. For those of you who don't know, if we fly the same TieCorps Battle, we receive a citation for that battle. At the moment Sin Squadron only has two. What I would like to do is to have us fly a battle every two weeks. I would make it one every week but we'd all get battle fatigue. Or unless everyone wants to do that. But lets try it out for one every two weeks for now. The battle for us to fly is TC-4 (attached).

Mission Design Contest

For the Jedi Convention 2001 held in Cologne, Germany next Easter, the Emperor's Hammer is going to provide some demonstration custom missions for some competitions, with little prizes for the winners. The goal of this contest is to select the missions chosen for this event. Missions will be needed for all platforms, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and X-wing Alliance. Due to the "propaganda" nature of the event, only missions of the highest quality will be selected.
Three custom missions per platform will be chosen for single player competitions. In addition, a set of four XvT missions will be selected for a multiplayer contest: these missions can be in either "multiplayer combat" or "multiplayer training" formats, be played in cooperation or face-to-face engagement, but must be balanced for both sides.

In light of a few "concerns" from pilots and other security reasons, passwords may now only be retrieved via the Password Retrieval Form. You can no longer get your password by asking the Flight Office staff because they don't have access to other people's passwords. When you fill out forms or tests that require you to enter your password, it simply checks your password with the one stored on the database. It does NOT e-mail or display your password to other officers in the club. The only person in the entire fleet with access to see passwords stored on tiecorps.org is me and me alone.
I will not accept lost password requests either via e-mail or IRC. If you lose your password, use the retrieval form.
