FLEET NEWS

Vice Admiral Freelancer has resigned as NAVCOM. Do not apply for this position though, FO Sarriss will choose a replacement by herself.

After quite some time of hard work, Project Phoenix is finally completed. 154 battles and 97 free missions have been updated and fixed and should now be bugfree.


WING X NEWS

A very hearty congrats to WC Darklord who was promoted to Lieutnant Colonel!

Congrats also to CMDRs Aven Kronn (Tornado) and Indaro Gallia (Thunder) for making Major!


SQUADRON NEWS

Unfortunately, I had to ask CPT Andron to transfer to the reserves after he had not reacted to continuous pledges of my part to be more active. His replacement is SL Morgan T’kon, alias Rich! Give him a hearty welcome back :)

LT Elwood is still unable to be an active pilot cause his PC is still busted. He has emailed me though, and said he’d prolly be back in a few days. No sign of LT Xeraan so far.


SQUADRON STATUS

There doesn’t seem to be a Combat Run #11 for these 2 weeks, but prepare to fly once it is announced..

Exercise Cantina Run is still in its second phase – quality section. We’ve had 10 submissions (I think, Rich’s might have been too late?) of 10 possible, which is a great result! I’m proud of you! WC Darklord has asked all Challenge pilots to help him choose the graphics he’ll submit for the quality section of Phase 2, so download the Challenge’s submissions at www.isdchallenge.org/ecr2.zip and tell Lee your 3 favorites.

Phase 3 of Exercise Cantina Run isn’t far... so start making your missions/battles now! I’ve sent you tips, but if you got any more questions about TFW, just ask. I expect everyone of you to send in at least one free mission, or alternatively a mission plotline that will make it rather easy for me to design the missions for you! Deadline for mission submissions is Friday, August 4th, for the plotline submissions, remember I’ll have to make those missions before the deadline as well!

Remember our Monthly Squadron Competition! Fly TC 45 until July 31st (I need just one more submission so we’ll get a citation...). Highest laserless scorer will be awarded an ISM.
