MAJ Jonathan reporting for Yod Squadron on December 9, 2000.
First off, I apologize for not doing a report last week. This report will
include everyone's activity for the past two weeks as a result. I have a
few BSFs to do that I will try to get done today. If you have flown
something and don't receive the approved BSF by tomorrow evening or if there
is anything else that I have not submitted, please let me know.
Secondly, our participation for the SL Quarterfinals was below par. As a
result, I'm entering Yod into a rebuilding stage. As incentive, I will
award an ISM to anyone within the squadron who brings new pilots in and I
will request a PC for those who greatly increase their participation levels
in competitions as well as fly a lot outside of competitions.
Next, I have sent in the details for a competition against Cheth Squadron
for approval. Once it is approved, I will make a formal announcement of the
details.
A new battle for the Yod Citation Comp was supposed to be announced last
week but, of course, there was not report so I will assign a new one this
week. I have chosen TC TIE 164 (attached). It's another short, 4 mission
battle. As far as I know, no one has flown it. I hope that everyone will
take time to do it.
If any of you are interested in becoming the Yod web master, let me know. I
am basically just looking for someone who will be willing to do weekly
updates for the site but they are welcome to redesign it if they wish. I've
not had a chance to update it in about 2 weeks and I don't see myself
getting a chance to until almost the first of the year. If someone would
like to do it, it would greatly help me and the individual who does will be
rewarded accordingly.
Reminders: FL rotation will be at the beginning of January. I've lost
track of who is in the running but if you want to be a FL, you still have
time to catch up. Also, any pilot who reaches 150 FCHG points will be
awarded an ISM.

Let's get Yod back up to the status it has earned. I would like for us to
be able to rebuild to the point that we would be able to take on Teth in a
competition. In fact, let's shoot for that. Minkus, if you have read this
far down, let me know what you think about having a "Best Squad in the Wing"
comp once we are back to full active status and up to par with what Yod
should be (we do need time to rebuild though). Yodders, it's time to get
serious about who we are and what we are capable of. If everyone does their
part, we can do it!
