IN THE NEWS

The roster is up seven since my last report with ads on Reddit and other Discord servers being cited fairly frequently about how new pilots found us. Thanks again to everyone involved with posting those.

A round of FCHG achievement medals went out yesterday after having been in the works for, well, too long. Congratulations to everyone that received an award and especially to CPT Wolve Excelsior Berkana who received the Gold Star of the Empire for reaching the final FCHG rank.

Squadron (Re)Mobilization 5 is live and being run by the Warfare Officer this year. There've been a number of tweaks to how the tasks work and those of you that've been here for (Re)Mob before will probably notice those if you read through its description on the site. I think the single biggest change this year is that each game is worth a different amount of credit to account for match duration, win rate, and queue times varying between games.

In the latest EH storyline update from the Fleet Commander, the Ishtari threat has been neutralized. While a number of our capital ships are being repaired at Tusorix, our starfighter pilots will be kept occupied by this month's exercise. After repairs are complete, the fleet will be heading for the Chaos. Full version of the update is in the Wiki.

IN THE WORKS

With the FCHG update done, I'll be putting time into evaluations of the admirals and Spectre Squadron to get everyone caught up. It's also a competition month, so there's plenty to do activity-wise as well.

REMINDERS

If you're able to stay in contact with your CMDR at least every 30 days and do even a small amount of gaming, writing, drawing/designing, IU course taking, or even uniform updating at least every 60 days, I don't think anybody's trying to push you to the Reserves. While there are situations where a squadron could replace a less active pilot with a more active pilot, that's usually when the squadron is full and not many squadrons have all 12 positions filled. I think most CMDRs would agree that having someone in their squadron is better than having an empty space on their roster.

On Discord, I recommend keeping in mind how well you know someone to accurately gauge how far you can take a joke without offending them. If you don't know someone that well, I think it's worth holding back a bit just in case. When a line gets crossed, it's sometimes difficult to take it back in a way that'll be accepted by the one that thinks they've been wronged.
