Introduction

Greetings,

It has been a week since the new TC database went live, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance so far. Of course, there will be some issues to deal with here and there, like the one we noticed today, where some automatic e-mails appear not to have been sent, although it’s more likely that this is a server limit issue. Either way, we will work on it, as it will happen with whatever comes our way.

On the other hand, we are glad to announce that a new database function was released today! The Multiplayer Kill Board is live, and it will count points for LoCs and DFCs awarded. There will be other news on this, especially regarding a new MP Ace of the TIE Corps competition to be hosted by the COO. We hope you enjoy!

As you’ve heard from COL Zósite earlier this week, there is still no function to upload Flight Leader’s reports in the TC database. This function is currently being built, but it might take some time. In the meantime, Flight Leaders are encouraged to save their reports for future uploading, or even uploading them to the EH database, as they will be imported to the TC database when the function is online.

On the Monthly Squadron Evaluations front, I was pleased to see that all MSEs have been submitted, and a few medals are waiting to be awarded. Congratulations to the Squadron Commanders on a job well done!

And we have had promotions this week! Alpha’s Flight 3 leader Lanil Jast has been promoted to the rank of full Commander, the same happening to his flight mate, Matthew Weeks. Congratulations to you both on a very much deserved promotion. Keep up the good work! Needless to say, the two new CMs are buying the next round.

And that is it for this week. Work is ongoing, and we are currently doing well with the new database. I have some work to do still, but I believe that, even with Karana Phase 4 on the horizon, I might release a flying competition to celebrate the new database. But please bear with me, since life is crazy at this point.
