Dropping the last of his payload of proton bombs onto the MC75's starboard shield generator, LCM Neurotictim pulled his TIE Bomber into a quick climb, safely avoiding the explosion as the final bomb rendered the generator useless.
Readying his Quarrie Composite Beam Cannon as he drifted above the MC75, he precisely lined up the cruiser's damaged targeting array in his reticle just as the cannon finished charging.
A blast of energy shot from his TIE Bomber, tearing through the targeting array first - utterly destroying it - and then blazed along the hull of the cruiser.
Getting into position for one final assault, the pilot aimed his rotary cannon at an exposed section of the damaged hull where a reactor leak could be seen, and fired.
"Impressive…" CPT Keblaomega muttered to himself as he watched the destruction of the capital ship unfold with incredible efficiency.
Turning off the monitor and examining the summary data he had compiled from the Beta Squadron "Bantha Bombers'" first official training exercise with their new designated craft, the squadron commander couldn't help but smile.
"Exceptional performance overall" he typed as he began to compose the full report to submit to AD Phoenix Berkana.
