It’s been a while since I’ve put together a report, got out of the habit and then it got away from me. There’s been plenty going on, so let’s get into that.

The roster is up 30 since my last report a few months back, a very strong upward trend that’s brought us to 15 active duty squadrons with more on the way. Many thanks to the pilots that are putting in the time to get the word out about us and brought us to this point!

One of the reasons we have more squadrons on the way is that we’ve reached the end of our test of 16-pilot squadrons. Kappa, Rho, Sin, and Theta each had one flight added to their structure to see how well an increased max size would work. The conclusion they reached is that it wasn’t a big difference admin-wise, but it posed some unique challenges with regard to roster flexibility and competitions that involve squadron placement. As a result, we’ve decided to bring the test to a close and return the Warrior’s squadrons to their original 12-pilot size. With Wing II being above 48 pilots, that’ll mean opening a new squadron.

Earlier this month, we wrapped up Squadron (Re)Mobilization 4. This iteration was the toughest yet with just two squadrons completing all eight tasks and taking the top prize. Congratulations to Lambda Squadron and Tempest Squadron! Also on the board with tasks completed were Rho (6), Firebird (5), Beta (4), Inferno (3), Avenger (2), Delta (2), Epsilon (2), and Thunder (1).

Squadron (Re)Mobilization brought with it some roster changes. The TIE Punisher was added to our craft list as well as the Tempest-class TIE Punisher not long after that, both having been proposed by LC Honsou and approved by the Fleet Commander. Lambda now has flights of Lambda-class shuttles, TIE Reapers, and TIE Punishers. Tempest swapped its Missile Boats for the new Tempest-class TIE Punisher and retained its TIE Defenders. Rho will be requisitioning TIE Advanced starfighters at some point. Firebird is now a Recon squadron with X-Wings and A-Wings. Finally, Beta is now a Heavy Assault squadron composed entirely of TIE Bombers.

As a reminder, concerns about the behavior of individual pilots should be escalated through the chain of command as opposed to being brought up in Discord channels. If you don’t get the response you think an issue deserves at one level, you’d escalate to the next via Discord DM or email even if that next level is the TCCOM. I’m a busy guy, but I’ll make time.

TITLE HOLDERS
