COMMANDER'S LOG
As he sits at his desk, chair spun around to look at the viewport behind it, CPT LegionX starts to take his mask off putting it on the desk and sighs. With a very distraught tone in his voice he just asks, 'Impulse now?...another one leaves. I do hope the best for him, but now....6?' A voice coming from the Captain's computer sparks to life and speaks, 'I understand your frustration, and know that I am doing my best to get more recruits to you, but it's going to take time. Tygra wouldn't have put you in this situation if he didn't think you were up to the task.'
'I know, and I know they have families and loved ones to deal with back at their homes, but it feels like I've done more damage to the squadron than actually helped it grow.'
'You're seeing this the wrong way. Being frustrated with this is natural, but don't see it as damage, but clearing a path for new talent to rise up to the occasion.'
As the Captain hears this, it takes him only a moment to realize the voice is correct. He shouldn't stay this way as it will affect the others who now look up to him. As he stands up from his chair, grabbing his mask to put it on he starts to speak, 'Thank you for that sir, I'm starting to feel better now. I should get back to what's left of my squadron. 'I'm always here to help, and so are the other CMDR's. Silwar Out.' Finally putting on his favorite trench coat, Captain LegionX starts to walk out of his office, 'Time to get to work.'

SQUADRON NEWS / COMPETITIONS / EVENTS
Welcome Thunder Pilots to this week's report!G'Day Thunder, 
As you can see from this report there have been changes to the WSR, although there may yet be further changes later in the month. I will now be adding a short story as well as compressing the bulk of information here in one section. No more Large Competition panels, I will be providing just the links and you can see the details from the site. 
As we finally start the new year, I do have to announce that we have lost another squad member to the reserves. COL Impulse has decided that it is time to focus on his real life situations, we do wish him the best. Now we have a serious issue to discuss, we need people. This is being taken care of by myself and the Flight Leads, along with High Command, but do not let that stop you from inviting folks into the squad yourself. 
Finally, We really need to amp up our game as we have been quiet for the majority of the holidays. LT's I really need you to complete TCCORE asap. If you do not know how to do this, please contact your Flight Leader or Myself. If you have been an LT for more than a month and wondering why you haven't ranked up, this is the reason why.

If you are still a LT for over a month, I ask why? The TCCORE test is available to all and does not take up much time at all, and I am here to help you should you require it. This course is mandatory if you want further promotions within the Corps.
