GAMMA WEEKLY SQUADRON REPORT # 1

INTRODUCTION

It's been quiet a troublesome time lately, with all those changes here. First Crsepe went off and stretched its wings to fly as high as a RA as COO, then Mark broke his wings and steped down as CMDR. Now I was installed as new Gamma CMDR to see how I can rebuilt this ... really proud Squadron up to where it belongs to, the top of the TC! I promise you to do the best I can to get us there :-) But I will need your help to get us there. I can't do this alone. So let's work together, see what we can bring up as activities for you, for us, to have fun with, to get active again with and then let's just rule the TC :-) I know we can do it!

- Mark stepped down as Gamma CMDR - MAJ Elwood the Brave, yeah, that's me, has been appointed as new Gamma CMDR - Gamma Flight 2 FL spot needs to be filled. COMPETITIONS

Ace of the TC Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied, missions not yet processed will count towards the next month. IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board - IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year. Karana Initiative Phase 3 Fly the XvT battle for the Karana Initiative Phase 3 ASAP! But wait 'till it is out please, else you might be courtemartialed for cheating :-P GoP - Gamma on patrole Every week in my WSR I will announce a TIE Free mission or battle. All Gamma members (including me) then have until next weeks saturday 10:00 CEST (08:00 am UTC) to send me their pilot files for that mission/battle. Scoring will be laserless, as usuall for TIE comps. Best laserless score will be awarded an IS-BW. The participants each week will accumulate points according to their ranking. 1st will get 4 pts, 2nd 3 pts, 3rd 2pts and any other participant will get 1 point. The one with the most points at the end of the month will earn himself a shiny IS-SW, while the second at the end of the month will receive an IS-BW. This weeks mission/battle: TIE-F #2: Ja24 #2 Gamma becomes educated Each week in my WSR I will choose a single IU course. Every Gamma member then has until 10:00 CEST (08:00 am UTC) next saturday to finish that course. The one with the highest score for the course wins himself an IS-BR. The participants also accumulate points each week, 1st gets 4, 2nd 3, 3rd 2 and every other participant 1 point. The one with the most points at the end of the month wins himself a nice and shiny IS-SR, runner up gains an IS-BR. This weeks course: The Standard Stormtrooper Basic Training Course (SSBTC)

SQUADRON ORDERS

1.) Report about activity before I release next weekly squadron report (approximately next Saturday around 10:00 UTC/GMT). Even if you did nothing you should still report and say that you did nothing. 2.) Keep activity on good level (IU/IWATS, flying or anything you can do). This club is about activity and fun, not just boring hangaround. 3.) Participate in Competitions! Those are designed and run to give YOU something to have fun with.

FINAL WORDS

Here we go, another week passed bye, more then ever reported in and we're heading into our first Gamma competitions round in a while. Let's hope and pray that this leads us into a new level of activity here in Gamma. I'll do my very best to keep mine up and help you with getting yours back up too! BTW, I managed to get Win98SE working in a VM on my Win8/64 and run TIE/XvT/BoP/XWA together with EHBL on it. and the best thing, I even found drivers for my Saitek ST290Pro for Win98 and it worked :-P So I can fly even at home now, when I find the time.
