Another quiet week this week, but there are some exciting updates to share with you all.

MSE awards came out! For details see the activity log below, but great work. Not too shabby for our first Kappa MSE in a while!

Some exciting things going on in the squadron as well. There has been some discussion about trying to potentially set up some Kappa-specific flight time for Squadrons. Need to pin down a time. If you're interested in trying to set up a weekly (or every other week, perhaps) time to fly as a Squadron, pop into the discord chat and discuss with the team! I'm also open to the idea of rotating games so that we can engage all the different pilots and platforms in the squadron. Speaking of Squadrons (seems to the the word of the day/week/month), I'm sure you all saw that EA/Motive is giving us some content! Particularly exciting for us since part of our squadron is flying TIE DEFENDERS! Now we just need them to canonize missile boats and add them :-)

Competition Center - click this for a good time: Lots of good comps running at the moment, especially for your Squadrons pilots. Reminder - if you're submitting a screen for a Squadrons comp, check the latest guidance in the comp description for who/what/where to submit.

Misadventures of Kappa Squadron: Pilots are to submit a 'Misadventures of Kappa Squadron' story/story snippet to the Squadron Commander for inclusion in the WSR. The sky (space?) is the limit - no prompts required. The submission that makes it into the Weekly Squadron Report will have it's creator awarded an IS-BR. For every fifth single award the medal will be upgraded to an IS-SR. Valid submissions are to be a piece of fiction equivalent to at least half a standard page (double spaced is fine).

Kappa King or Queen of the Month: THIS IS STILL ACTIVE. Apologies that it expired in the competition center, but it IS still an active comp under #3122. Please let me know if you submit an IWATS course so I can count your points! Calling all Kappa pilots of all platforms! Get to your fighters, there's an IS-BW up for grabs for who can get the most points from flying and/or educating yourselves! Points awarded as follows (and will be retroactive for the month of October): Email/Telegram/Discord presence in Kappa Chats - 1 pt each TIE/XvT/XWA SP mission flown - 2 pts per mission LoC/LoS (Star Conflict/Battlefront/Squadrons) - 5pts each LoC/LoS (XvT/XWA) - 15 pts each IWATS Passed - 25 pts each Good luck Kappa!
