Welcome to this week's report, pilots. The big news this week is that Rho Squadron is back to full strength. SL Chatter joins us as Rho 3 and SL Epicedion joins us as Rho 4. Welcome, pilots! Also, congrats to LT Frenchie6 for recruiting SL Epicedion. It's great to have Rho Squadron full and ready to deploy.

Fleet Commander Rapier has issued new battle orders that split the Emperor’s Hammer into two groups, The First Recon Division and The Home Guard. Rho will join the rest of the Warrior in the First Recon Division as part of Battle Group 2. We're shipping out to the Unknown Regions in the vicinity of Bakura. Get ready for a long deployment, pilots. Our orders are to 'proceed cautiously and investigate everything we can find that might give us leads on [a] hidden dark presence.'

In response to positive feedback, Project 660 will continue in August. Once the TIE Corps in Battle assignments are announced, I'll select the Project 660 assignments for August.

I submitted July's Monthly Squadron Evaluations this afternoon, and I am beyond pleased with your activity, pilots. We have a record number of medals and promotions coming down the pipeline. Rho is building a sense of community, and the rest of the galaxy is taking notice. Keep it up, Rho!

Project 660 was such a success that I have decided to keep it going in August. I'll wait for the TIE Corps in Battle assignments to be announced before I make my battle selections for August (I want to avoid doubling up on battles).

CURRENT STANDINGS

For the month, I will select three battles (one for each classic platform). You'll earn one point for every battle BSF you submit, plus the following bonus points for each platform every month.

• First pilot to submit the battle BSF (1 point)
• Score ?80% of the current high score (1 point)
• Earn a new high score (1 point for each mission HS; 1 point for battle HS)

Remember, Iron Stars are awarded at ten-point intervals: IS-BR for every 10 points and IS-SR for every 20 points.

Rapier's new orders give us an opportunity to write the next chapter of TIE Corps history. We're invited to come up with competitions and storylines aligned with these new orders. Along those lines (and based on LCM acetiepilot's suggestion), I'd like to have a fiction competition in August with the theme Rho's Origins. Would you rather see this as a run-on comp or a longer fiction comp? Let me know.
