BREAKING: The HAMMER has won a battle!

The Hammer fleet in the Pirath system won their encounter with the elements the Warrior team had stationed in system. This is the first win by the Hammer forces and a spokeperson from HA Elwood the Brave said that the team were ecstatic and were being granted a brief down time after their invasion of the system. All local bars have been informed of the need to stock Epsicola.

A great deal of commotion was reported at the Setii Government Institute early this morning as ground based detection equipment indicated the arrival of forces from the Warrior fleet. They were spotted taking up positions on the outskirts of the system and are assumed to be making preparations for landing. We recommended that the local population remain indoors and tune in to channel 325.42 on the Imperial Holonet to observe the landing.

UPDATE

We have our update from Turn 18 – with two major points.

Firstly – a task force from the WARRIOR team have arrived at Setii and found the world to be undefended. They have begun the process of taking the system…

Secondly - Battle 4: The Stand at Pirath.

We had some VERY good participation across the teams, with the WARRIOR doing particularly well in both SP and MP combat.

However, unfortunately for the WARRIOR the HAMMER turned up with a fleet over ten times larger than the defending force and despite a superb rear guard action the HAMMER carried the day and are now in the process of taking the system.

The Warrior scored a SP average of 73.62% to the Hammers of 26.38%

The Warrior scored 613 Legions to the Hammers 119

Now breaking down the damage ->

Warrior – 11,591pts from SP action & 2,614 from MP action (14,205 overall)

Hammer 2,344 from SP action & 974 from MP action (3,318 overall)

The Hammer showing up with a significantly larger fleet allowed it to deal more damage despite having a lower scoring average.
