The end of May means time to look at the results of our two squadron competitions. Rho Run-On May 2020
Congrats to our winners, CPT Drake Starfire and LT Griggs D'Arc. The winners were decided by number of posts that met the criteria (every post in the Discord channel counted, I'm happy to report), but I thought it would be neat to see how many words each pilot contributed, too. I am proud by the story that we worked to create, and, as promised, I will work to turn our collaborative fiction into a free mission depicting Rho Squadron's first action. Thank you, pilots! I picked a strange time to move house, pilots. I'm settling in at my new place and should be flying again before the next round of Imperial Storm. The people of my adopted hometown are experiencing a crisis, and I have mixed feelings about returning to my quiet hometown for the summer. I won't get political here, but I wonder if I should have stayed, or if my leaving is a symbol of some hidden aspect of my character. Time will tell. I spent much of the day compiling the MSE and calculating the totals for Rho Run-On and Rho Ace, and I just want to say that I'm very pleased with your participation in these competitions. With Rho Run-On, we've begun to literally write the history of our squadron, but your participation and activity—plus the bonds we're forming on Discord and Telegram—will truly create Rho's history. I have an idea for June's monthly squadron competition, but I'm always eager to hear your ideas. If you've read this far, do me a favor and reply with an idea for a competition that you'd like to see, even if it's one word. Get out there and remind 'em we're the bad guys. COL Hav Antiel |
