Beta Squadron Report - April18th 2020
A new beginning!
Greetings everyone! First report I write for the Emperor’s Hammer in many, many years. I’m so rusted that I’m afraid a feeble breeze will make me fall in pieces on the ground!
Speaking of rust, Beta Squadron has been reactivated this week, with myself appointed as Commander. Flight Leader positions were filled by LCM Mirei Seppen and LC Kyle Kroan. LCM Skyshadow is our first Flight member!
Some changes were made to the squadron: new mission, new starfighters and, well, new members of course. We're on recruitment mode! Let's bring some new blood (and new old blood too :P) in our squad!
Fleet news
The fleet is growing! A lot of reservists joined back this week. Welcome home! I truly hope you enjoy your new tour of duty with us. Make your squadrons proud and have fun!
Two new squadrons have been reactivated - Beta and Rho Squadron. That’s great news!
VA Hav Antiel has stepped down from his position of Commodore and took Rho Squadron under his wing. For his service as CMDR of Sin Squadron and Commodore of the ISD II Warrior, he has been awarded the Grand Order of the Emperor! Congrats and let’s drink for our new step in our careers, shall we?
Squadron News
Well, first of all, Beta squadron is back! Actually with 4 members, I’d like to double this number by next month.
The squadron has a new mission within the fleet : Space supremacy. The definition is:
To achieve complete space/air control over a region/planet, effectively denying any capacity from the adversary to interfere in said region or planet. Achieving space or air supremacy, or at least superiority, makes it easier for other squadron to successfully achieve their mission(s).
In order to accomplish this, I’ve asked to change our starfighters for TIE Defenders. All our flights are now equipped with this marvelous piece of Imperial technology!

- Back in the cockpit, playing XWA (but I was still in Alpha Squadron at that moment!)
